Spooner finished with four shots and a minus-1 rating over 17:30 of ice time (3:26 on the power play) in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
While he was held off the board here, the pending restricted free agent has built up his value with 16 points in 19 games with the Rangers after coming over from Boston in the Rick Nash deal. Spooner was no slouch with the Bruins either, posting 25 points in 39 appearances prior to the move for a grand total of 13 goals and 28 assists this season.

Spooner registered a goal and two assists in Thursday's 5-3 road loss to the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
Spooner's been nothing short of awesome since the Rangers pried him away from the Bruins on Feb. 25, tallying two goals and eight helpers over six games. Better yet, it looks like he'll be able to hold down a role on the No. 2 power-play unit. Keep close tabs on Spooner if you need help at the center spot in fantasy.

Spooner recorded a goal, an assist, five shots and a plus-2 rating during Friday's 3-1 win over Calgary.
EDGE Analysis
Spooner has now recorded a multi-point showing in each of his first three games with the Rangers to improve to 10 goals and 22 assists through 42 games for the campaign. He should remain a key cog for the Rangers, and there's no questioning the 26-year-old winger's offensive upside. His scoring pace is going to slow, but there's potential for Spooner to continue providing serviceable numbers in the majority of settings through the end of the season.

Spooner continued his strong play since being traded by adding three assists Wednesday in a 6-5 overtime win over Vancouver.
EDGE Analysis
Spooner isn't going to keep up his pace of five assists in two games, but he might be more valuable than fantasy owners originally thought when he came over in the Rick Nash trade. He will find opportunities in New York even after his pace drops off, and that bodes well for his long-term value.

Spooner, who was just traded to the Rangers, picked up two assists with his new team in a 3-2 loss to the Red Wings on Sunday. He saw 16:31 of ice time, including 0:54 on the power play.
EDGE Analysis
Spooner was a piece of the Rick Nash trade and got thrown right into the mix by the Bruins. During his time with Boston he picked up nine goals and 16 assists through 39 games. It remains to be seen what his role will be with the Rangers, but this is certainly a debut to remember.

Spooner, who was acquired earlier in the day from the Bruins, is expected to make his Rangers debut Sunday against the Red Wings, Bob McKenzie of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
One of three players shipped to New York in the trade that sent Rick Nash to Boston, Spooner looks like he'll be thrown in the fire right away as the Rangers aim to determine whether he fits into their long-term plans. It's not inconceivable that the Rangers might also explore moving Spooner elsewhere before the trade deadline, given that the center will hit restricted free agency this summer and therefore become more expensive. So long as Spooner remains with New York, however, look for him to find a spot on the team's second or third line. Spooner has potted nine goals and dished out 16 assists in 39 games this season.

The Rangers acquired Spooner, forward Matt Beleskey, defenseman Ryan Lindgren and a 2019 seventh-round pick from the Bruins on Sunday in exchange for forward Rick Nash.
EDGE Analysis
With nine goals and 16 assists in 39 games this season, Spooner was an adequate second-line forward for Boston, but in essentially replacing the 26-year-old with Nash, the Bruins were able to secure a high-profile offensive upgrade that should help the team during its playoff push. Bound for restricted free agency this summer, Spooner should get plenty of opportunities over the Rangers' final 20 games to prove that he's worth retaining this offseason. Don't expect Spooner to suit up Sunday against the Red Wings, however, with his team debut instead likely to come Wednesday at Vancouver.

Spooner picked up a goal in Saturday's 4-2 loss to Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
Spooner has eight points (three goals, five assists) in his last 10 games and 23 points in 33 games this season. That would pro-rate to close to 60 points this season if he hadn't seen time on the IR. Spooner's value continues to increase.

Spooner recorded two assists during Thursday's 3-1 win over St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
The two helpers give Spooner 20 points -- eight goals -- through his past 23 contests, as he continues to provide consistent offense. With top-six minutes and a role on the No. 1 power-play unit, it's surprising Spooner is available in so many fantasy leagues. Scoop him up if scoring is needed.

Spooner scored a goal on four shots, adding three hits and a minus-1 rating, in Monday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
He continues to thrive on the Bruins' second line, collecting four goals and six assists in his last 12 games with a plus-6 rating. Spooner has missed substantial time to injury this season, but if he can stay healthy in the second half and hold onto a top-six role, he should be able to provide solid fantasy value.
