O' Reilly contributed a pair of assists in Saturday's win over the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
The Sabres have been struggling and O'Reilly had been held off the scoresheet in six straight games. His seven goals and 18 points through 28 contests are decent and he's still on track for another 20-goal, 50-60 point campaign. Despite the recent drought, the second-line center is fairly consistent and makes for a solid fantasy play in most formats.

O'Reilly scored a goal and registered two shots on net through 22:11 of ice time during Friday's 3-1 loss to Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
After recording just a single assist through the first five games of the campaign, O'Reilly has now collected seven goals and 13 points over his past 14 outings. He receives huge minutes and has recorded at least 55 points in four consecutive seasons, so the 26-year-old veteran projects to remain an excellent fantasy asset in the majority of settings. Just note that his minus-14 rating is a crippling mark, and with Buffalo playing the part of a basement dweller again this year, it could continue to slide in the wrong direction.

O'Reilly scored the Sabres' only goal Saturday in a 2-1 overtime loss to the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
O'Reilly has six points (three goals, three assists) in his last six games. He's heating up, but he's untouchable if you can't stomach his abysmal plus-minus (minus-13). There isn't a dose of Zantac big enough to keep that burn down.

O'Reilly lit the only lamp for Buffalo in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
O'Reilly's goal was the only bright spot of the outing as he now has five goals and 11 points in his last nine games. The slow start seems to be behind him, so park him on your roster if someone got impatient and dropped him in your fantasy pool.

O'Reilly dished out a trio of helpers in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
O'Reilly had an assist in each period as his team improved to 3-2-0 in its past five games after a 1-5-2 start. Even after finishing with a plus-2 rating in this rare meeting with a team even worse than his own, the 26-year-old center has a minus-7 mark for the season despite posting 11 points in 13 games.

O'Reilly stretched his point streak to four games and six points with a goal and assist in Saturday's overtime win over the Bruins.
EDGE Analysis
His goal as the OT winner. O'Reilly is a cagey veteran who looks like he's firing up his game. Roll him and reap the rewards.

O'Reilly scored his first two goals of the season, both of them on the power play, Tuesday against Vegas.
EDGE Analysis
After playing over 20 minutes in just one of his first five games, O'Reilly has now played at least 21 minutes in his past two games, including 26:56 in an overtime loss against Vegas. The veteran forward is now seeing his average ice time creep back over 20 minutes, and his first two goals now gives him four points in seven games. After a bit of a slow start, it looks like O'Reilly is back on track and hitting his stride. He made a promise to increase his offensive production this season and should make a run at topping 60 points.

O'Reilly finished Sunday's 3-1 win over Anaheim with an assist and a plus-1 rating.
EDGE Analysis
O'Reilly has had a slow start to 2017-18 -- his third as a Sabre -- notching two assists and going without a goal through six games. That said, O'Reilly is playing over four minutes per game on the man advantage, where he's scored 16 goals and 46 points over the past two campaigns, so it shouldn't be long before he gets back on track.

O'Reilly was voted by his teammates as the MVP, The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
O'Reilly's win comes at no surprise after finishing second on the team in scoring with 55 points and leading the league in ice time among forwards. His on-ice leadership and two-way play has earned the respect of many around the league, and he'll represent Canada at the upcoming World Championships in France and Germany. With captain Brian Gionta set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer and a contract extension unlikely to come as the Sabres continue to build around its young core, O'Reilly is a leading candidate to inherit the mantle. Even though he's not an elite scorer, O'Reilly is still a valuable fantasy asset because of his 1,039 faceoff wins this season, which is only second to Patrice Bergeron's 1,089. With a healthy Evander Kane and Kyle Okposo on his flanks, he should be able to crack the 60-point mark next season.

O'Reilly has answered the call and will represent Canada at the World Championships, The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is the fourth appearance for O'Reilly at the Worlds, and will likely be the team's third-line center behind Mark Scheifele and Claude Giroux. He was an injury replacement for Canada at the World Cup, and despite failing to register a point in six games, was one of the team's most reliable two-way players. He'll assume a similar role under Team Canada head coach Jon Cooper.
