Garbutt agreed to terms on a one-year deal with KHL Sochi on Wednesday, Igor Eronko of Sport-Express reports.

Garbutt should be seeing an increase in ice time, reports the Orange County Register.

Coach Bruce Boudreau was quoted after Friday's game saying that he "was trying to figure out how [to] get [Garbutt] more ice time [since] he's playing really good."
