Roman Horak has agreed to terms with the KHL's Vityaz Podolsk. Horak had a goal in just three NHL games with Calgary and Edmonton in 2013-14. He spent most of the campaign in the AHL where he recorded 55 points in 66 contests.

The Edmonton Oilers have acquired Laurent Brossoit and Roman Horak from the Calgary Flames in exchange for Ladislav Smid. Horak has five goals and 18 points in 82 career NHL games. The 22-year-old forward also has two goals and seven points in 13 contests this season.

The Calgary Flames have recalled Roman Horak from the minors. Horak has bounced up and down over the last two seasons between the Flames and their minor league affiliate in Abbotsford as he played 61 games with Calgary in 2011-12, scoring three goals and 11 points and then played 20 games last season, finding the back of the net twice and picking up five assists. He had a goal and three points in six AHL games this season with a minus-four rating. We cannot recommend him at this time.
