Fabbri scored a pair of power-play goals on two shots in Friday's 4-2 win over Boston.
EDGE Analysis
Acquired from St. Louis on Wednesday, Fabbri was making his Red Wings debut Friday and lit the lamp in each of the first two periods, his second goal proving to be the game-winner. Fabbri had just one goal in nine games with the Blues this season and had seen his production decline significantly ever since his 18-goal rookie season in 2015-16. The 2014 first-round pick will get every opportunity to breathe new life into his career with the NHL's lowest-scoring team.

Fabbri could make his Red Wings debut versus the Bruins on Friday, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Past knee injuries have really diminished Fabbri's prospects. The Blues took him 21st overall in the 2014 draft, but the talented forward missed all of 2017-18, and he's appeared in only 41 games since his long-awaited return with St. Louis last November. While Detroit is last in the league in scoring (2.1 goals per game), Fabbri may be able to provide some scoring in the bottom six to pump some life into the dispirited franchise.

Fabbri was traded to the Red Wings in exchange for Jacob De La Rose on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
It's an exchange of depth forwards between the two teams. Fabbri has just one goal in nine appearances, and he's served as a healthy scratch in seven of the last eight contests. Fabbri has 32 goals and 73 points through 164 regular-season games with the Blues, but he should see more consistent playing time in Detroit.

Fabbri didn't notch a point and finished with one hit in Sunday's 5-4 overtime win over the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Fabbri played just 11:14 but logged time on the power play. He's struggling to make an impact and even stay in the lineup, but his job could be safe for now with Vladimir Tarasenko (shoulder) out for five months. The 23-year-old may be able to bump into the top six if coach Craig Berube shakes up the lines in Tarasenko's absence, but Fabbri can't be depended on for fantasy purposes until he starts producing like he did before two ACL surgeries.

Fabbri made the Blues' 23-man roster and is in line to play in Wednesday's season opener versus the Capitals, Jim Thomas of The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
After two torn ACLs, Fabbri may never live up to the expectations he put on himself after racking up 18 goals and 37 points in 72 games as a rookie, but he's determined to find a place in the lineup. Last year, Fabbri showed glimpses of his old self and the Blues were confident enough to plug him in for two Stanley Cup Final games, so now it's a matter of producing. The 23-year-old is expected to begin the year on the third line with Tyler Bozak and Robert Thomas.

Fabbri inked a one-year, $900,000 contract with St. Louis on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Fabbri's career has been plagued by injuries, but he's evidently shown the organization enough over the past three campaigns to warrant another contract. The winger saw action in 32 games this season, in which he tallied two goals, four assists and 43 shots on net while averaging 12:39 of ice time. Fabbri is far from guaranteed a regular spot in the lineup in 2019-20 and could find himself watching from the press box periodically.

Jim Thomas of The St. Louis Post-DispatchFabbri was issued a qualifying offer from the Blues on Tuesday, kdkd reports.
EDGE Analysis
As part of the deal, Fabbri will earn $925,000 as base salary at both the NHL and AHL level. The 23-year-old produced just six points last season in 32 NHL games. Fabbri will still face an uphill battle to crack the lineup on a nightly basis with the Blues, considering the emergence of young forwards such as Samuel Blais and Robert Thomas.

Fabbri (coach's decision) is not in the lineup for Sunday's Game 6 against the Starts, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear why Fabbri was scratched, as he didn't have an injury history coming into the game. There will likely be more information following the game, but as of now, Samuel Blais will enter the lineup on the second line in his stead.

Fabbri scored a goal on his only shot in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Stars in Game 1 of their second-round series.
EDGE Analysis
Fabbri has struggled to find a consistent spot in the lineup this season, having registered only six points in 32 regular-season games. He has appeared in the last four games for the Blues, registering nine hits and seven shots along with the goal, but the winger has not exceeded 10 minutes in any of those games.

Fabbri will play on the fourth line during Tuesday's Game 3 matchup versus the Jets, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fabbri was a stud in the playoffs during his rookie season, racking up 15 points in 20 games. However, that was three years and two ACL surgeries ago, and Fabbri has struggled to stay in the lineup lately, posting six points in 32 games during the regular season. The 23-year-old will get another shot with the fourth line, which has an occasional scoring touch featuring Ivan Barbashev and Alexander Steen,
