Nash collected a pair of assists in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
It was his second straight multi-point game and it didn't take long for him to accomplish it, assisting on the Rangers' first two goals of the game. Nash has now scored seven of his 10 points this season in the past four games. He still isn't putting the puck past goalies, but Nash is getting closer to a point per game.

Nash slotted back into the lineup Tuesday after missing two games with a back injury and responded with a goal and an assist in a win over Carolina. He went plus-2 with four shots and a minor penalty.
EDGE Analysis
The goal was only the second of the year for Nash, who's scored 40 three times, including last year. He looked stronger on the puck Tuesday than ever before this season, so maybe a couple games out of the lineup were just what the powerful winger needed to get his head right.

Nash (back) will return to the lineup Tuesday against the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
Nash reportedly indicated to coach Alain Vigneault during practice that he was "good to go," and it was enough to convince the coach to play him. The winger missed each of the past two contests because of the injury, but he'll likely rejoin Derick Brassard and Mats Zucarello on the Rangers' top line in his return.

Nash (back) will not play Saturday versus the Coyotes, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nash is reportedly day-to-day, and it appears the Rangers are playing it safe with the big winger. Nash's next chance to lace up for a game will be Tuesday, when the Blueshirts host Carolina. Without Nash, look for Emerson Etem to see an uptick in minutes and possibly skate on one of the top two lines.

Nash (back) will not play Friday night against the Avalanche. He remains day-to-day.
EDGE Analysis
Nash evidently is still ailing after twisting his back in a shootout drill Thursday. Look for the Blueshirts to evaluate the stud winger closely ahead of Saturday's road match against the Coyotes. Emerson Etem reportedly will draw into the lineup with Nash unfit to play.

According to Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault, Nash twisted his back while doing a shootout drill Thursday and is considered day-to-day, Pat Leonard of New York Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The report adds that Nash may not play Friday against the Avs, but the team should be able to paint a clearer picture of Nash's status ahead of that contest. Highly regarded as one of the league's top snipers, Nash broke out with three assists Oct. 30 against the Maple Leafs, but he's still on pace for just 40 points which is a far cry from the 69 points he posted in 2014-15.

Nash assisted on all three Rangers goals in a 3-1 win over the Maple Leafs on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Nash and linemate Derick Brassard both grabbed a trio of helpers on Mats Zuccarello's hat trick, as the three players hooked up for a combined nine points in the contest. After a slow start to the season, Nash is now up to six points in 11 games but still only has one goal, so hopefully his three-point night can help him build some momentum toward lighting the lamp with more frequency.

Nash registered his first goal of the season in Thursday's 4-1 victory over Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
Though he never technically touched twine, with less than a minute remaining, Nash found himself facing an empty neck on the breakaway before he was hooked. While Nash owners have every right to be disappointed in the winger's production thus far, he's got points in consecutive games and all three points this season have come in the last five contests.

Nash picked up an assist on the Rangers' lone goal for his first point of the year in Tuesday's loss to the Jets. He went minus-1 with five shots in 18:10 of ice time.
EDGE Analysis
It's notable that this easily represents Nash's highest ice-time total of the year, but he's now put 15 shots on goal in four games and has yet to be repaid with a puck in the back of the net. However, despite the unpleasant final result, his game looked better Tuesday than it has at any other point in the early going. It's not likely that many Nash owners will be inclined to sell low on him, but it also shouldn't be forgotten that he's been sort of an every-other-year fantasy stud over the last five seasons -- and last year was one of the good ones.

Nash has 52 points in 59 career games versus Wednesday's opponent Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
As expected Nash will lineup on the team's first unit with Derick Brassard and Mats Zuccarello. Despite coming off a 42-goal campaign last season, after disappearing during the team's run to the Eastern Conference Finals, it's fair to say Nash is under the microscope again this fall and needs a quick start. It should be interesting to see how Nash responds to three tilts in the first four days. After the team opens the NHL season in Chicago, they will take on Nash's former employer Columbus in a traditional home-and-home series.
