According to Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault, Nash twisted his back while doing a shootout drill Thursday and is considered day-to-day, Pat Leonard of New York Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The report adds that Nash may not play Friday against the Avs, but the team should be able to paint a clearer picture of Nash's status ahead of that contest. Highly regarded as one of the league's top snipers, Nash broke out with three assists Oct. 30 against the Maple Leafs, but he's still on pace for just 40 points which is a far cry from the 69 points he posted in 2014-15.
