Bourque is a healthy scratch for Saturday night's game against the Wild, Hockey Inside Out reports.
This will be the second straight game Bourque's been a healthy scratch. He was scratched from Wednesday's game and replaced by Michael Bournival, who suffered a shoulder injury and is sidelined indefinitely. Rather than go back to Bourque, head coach Michel Therrien opted for Travis Moen instead.

Bourque was a healthy scratch from Wednesday night's game against the Sabres, the Montreal Gazette reports.
All one needs to see is Bourque's two assists and minus-9 through 13 games to understand what motivated head coach Michel Therrien to sit the veteran left-winger. He was replaced in the lineup by Jiri Sekac.

Bourque, who has one assist in 10 games, was benched for a stretch during the second period of Wednesday night's win over the Flames, the Montreal Gazette reports. He skated just 7:47 on Wednesday and is minus-five for the season.
Bourque and the rest of the third line are not producing much offense early on and it's been a target of head coach Michel Therrien's tinkering. First, Jiri Sekac was moved off and then the coach benched both Bourque and Lars Eller on Wednesday.

Rene Bourque isn't likely to argue with you if you called Tuesday's 7-4 victory over the New York Rangers the biggest game of his career.
Bourque led the charge for Montreal with a hat trick. "There are some games when the puck is coming to you," Borque said. "I've had a few (hat tricks) but obviously none as big as this one. I had a tough first period, the puck was bouncing but it was a little better in the second. You also have to give credit to my linemates. (Dale) Weise set me up with two great passes." He's now on a three-game point streak and has eight goals and three assists in 16 playoff contests.

Rene Bourque emerged from a slump to tally three goals in the Canadiens' 7-4 win over the New York Rangers Tuesday night.
He entered the game having scored just once in his past 10 contests so this breakout was certainly unexpected. The Habs also received offense from a number of other sources as David Desharnais, Alex Galchenyuk, Tomas Plekanec and Max Pacioretty all found the back of the net in the big victory while Andrei Markov dished out three helpers.

Rene Bourque racked up eight shots and scored his third goal of the postseason on Sunday night.
He's been a completely different player in the playoffs than he was during the regular season and a motivated Bourque can be a tough player for the opposition to handle. He got Montreal on the board just 11 seconds into Game 3 to give him three goals in his last two games.

Rene Bourque drove the Canadiens past the Lightning in Game 2 on Friday night, scoring two goals in the Habs' 4-1 victory in Tampa Bay.
Bourque's first goal is making the rounds on the highlight reels, as the veteran split the Bolts' defense and poked the puck past a sprawling Anders Lindback. That goal stood as the game-winner, while Bourque's second marker increased the Habs' lead to 3-0 and essentially putting the game out of reach in the third period for the hometown Lightning.
