With the Golden Knights down 3-1 with less than nine minutes left in the third period, Andersson helped set up an Ivan Barbashev tally that sparked a rally, before also having a hand in Tomas Hertl's OT winner. Andersson snapped a five-game point drought with the performance, and it was the first time in 13 contests for Vegas that he's recorded multiple points. Since the trade that brought him over from Calgary, the 29-year-old blueliner has one goal and six points, although he's earned his keep with 28 blocked shots.

Andersson scored a goal in Sunday's 7-1 loss to the Senators.

Andersson played a team-high 30 shifts and produced all the offense the Golden Knights could muster with a wrister midway through the third period. However, by that time, Vegas was already losing 7-0, so the goal was only to avoid the shutout. Andersson was acquired by the Golden Knights earlier this month in a trade with the Flames and has recorded points in his first two outings with his new team, tallying one goal, one assist, four shots on goal, five blocked shots and one hit in that span.

Andersson recorded an assist, three blocked shots, two shots on net and a plus-1 rating in Friday's 6-3 win over the Maple Leafs.

Making his first appearance for the Golden Knights since being acquired from the Flames on Sunday, Andersson was slotted onto a pairing with former Calgary teammate Noah Hanifin and looked comfortable in his new surroundings. Andersson didn't see any power-play time, however, and he may have a hard time dislodging Hanifin or Shea Theodore from their assignments with the man advantage. Andersson had 10 goals and 31 points in 49 games with the Flames prior to the trade, but he might have a hard time matching that scoring pace with the Knights.

To clear a spot for Andersson on the NHL roster, the Golden Knights sent Jaycob Megna down to the minors in a corresponding move. In 48 games with the Flames this season, the 29-year-old Andersson has generated 10 goals and 20 helpers, including 10 power-play points. With Vegas, Andersson should remain in the mix for power-play ice time and continue producing offensively.
