Andersson provided a goal and an assist in Calgary's 6-3 win over Nashville on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Andersson's marker, which came late in the first period, put Calgary up 4-2 and proved to be the game-winner. The 27-year-old has six tallies this season and two of them have been GWGs, which is similar to the unusually high rate of deciding markers he potted in 2022-23 (four of his 11 goals were GWGs). That's just a nice bonus for fantasy managers as Andersson is a solid defenseman regardless with 21 points, a plus-1 rating, 29 PIM, 80 shots and 95 hits in 34 contests this season. The only significant blemish is he has just four points (all assists) with the man advantage despite having a role on the main power-play unit, though he did get a power-play helper Thursday, so perhaps that will be the start of a run.

The defenseman has eight points and 52 blocks over his last 14 contests. For the season, he's at 19 points, 77 shots on net, 92 blocks, 27 PIM and an even plus-minus rating through 33 outings.

EDGE Analysis
Andersson quickly tied the game at 1-1 with a goal in the first period. The 27-year-old has been diligent in the defensive zone lately, recording at least two blocked shots in 11 straight games. He's up to five tallies, 18 points, 69 shots on net, 83 blocked shots, 27 PIM and a minus-3 rating through 30 outings overall as the Flames' top defenseman.

Andersson logged an assist, two shots on goal, five blocked shots and two PIM in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
Andersson had gone two games without a point after posting a five-game point streak to begin December. The defenseman set up A.J. Greer's opening tally early in the second period. It appears Andersson has reclaimed a spot on the top power-play unit over the last two games, displacing Noah Hanifin from that role. Andersson's playing style is a better fit there, even with a lack of success with the man advantage this season. He's up to 17 points, 59 shots on net, 70 blocked shots, 24 PIM and an even plus-minus rating over 27 outings.

Andersson provided an assist, fired four shots on goal and blocked five shots in Monday's 6-5 loss to the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
Andersson extended his point streak to five games with a helper on Yegor Sharangovich's second-period tally. During the streak, Andersson has a goal and four assists. The 27-year-old blueliner is up to 16 points, 55 shots on net, 57 blocks, 23 PIM and a minus-1 rating through 24 outings. He's not letting a lack of power-play time slow down his offense -- fantasy managers should check if a rival dropped him when he was removed from the power play.

He's playing well at both ends of the ice, though the Flames have lost three contests during his streak. Andersson scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
Andersson sparked the Flames' comeback, getting them on the board at 5:42 of the third period. The 27-year-old has a goal and two assists over the first three games of December -- his offense has been steady despite a lack of power-play time. He's up to four goals, 14 points, 50 shots on net, 48 blocked shots, 21 PIM and an even plus-minus rating through 22 outings. He should continue to see plenty of ice time as head coach Ryan Huska leans on his top-four blueliners.

Andersson notched an assist, three blocked shots and two PIM in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
Andersson has a helper in each of the last two contests after a three-game drought. The 27-year-old blueliner had the secondary assist on Mikael Backlund's second-period tally. Andersson still hasn't reclaimed his power-play role after being bumped off the first unit last week, but his offense is nonetheless heading in the right direction. For the year, he's at 13 points, 48 shots on net, 46 blocked shots, 21 PIM and a minus-1 rating through 21 outings.
