Datsyuk (upper body) is practicing Friday, MLive.com's Ansar Khan reports. Datsyuk was expected to return for Thursday's game against the Bruins but ultimately didn't end up playing. He now hopes to be back for Saturday's game against the Wild, and it seems he has a decent chance to suit up. Meanwhile, both Tomas Jurco (upper body) and Erik Cole (upper body) were absent from Friday's practice.

Datsyuk (lower body) won't play Thursday against the Bruins, MLive.com's Ansar Khan reports. Khan previously relayed during the Wings' morning skate that it appeared as though Datsyuk's ankle was still bothering him. Whether or not that's the issue, Datsyuk hopes to play Saturday against the Wild.

Datsyuk (lower body) is expected to return to the lineup Thursday against the Bruins, Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press reports. Datsyuk didn't skate Wednesday morning a day after being scratched against the Senators with the lower-body injury, but the Red Wings don't seem to believe he suffered a setback upon his return to the lineup over the previous weekend. The team could just be playing it safe with the center with the playoffs approaching, so if he's able to complete Thursday's morning skate without incident, he'll likely draw back into the lineup.

Datsyuk (lower body) isn't on the ice for pregame warmups and will not play Tuesday against the Senators, MLive.com's Ansar Khan reports. Datsyuk returned from a lower-body injury over the weekend to play in back-to-back games, the latter of in which he picked up a goal and assist. However, it appears he might have aggravated something while playing, as he'll now be forced out of his 17th game of the season due to injury. Having Datsyuk healthy for the postseason is paramount to the Red Wings' potential success, so it wouldn't be a surprise if the team limited the forward a bit over the final few games of the regular season.

Datsyuk netted his 24th goal of the season and had an assist in Sunday's loss to the Islanders. After returning to the lineup Saturday against Tampa Bay, it didn't take long for the 36-year-old to return to form Sunday against New York. He's now got 60 points in 59 games and should be an automatic roll whenever he's in action.

Datsyuk had two shots and no points in his return to the lineup Saturday in a 4-0 victory over Tampa Bay. Datsyuk had missed the last five games with a lower body injury and helped Detroit to a big win over a possible first-round playoff opponent. He should be solid for the rest of the season, as the Red Wings made absolutely sure he was 100 percent before letting him back in the lineup.

Datsyuk (lower body) is participating in pregame warmups and looks to be back in the lineup Saturday against the Lightning, MLive.com's Ansar Khan reports. The Red Wings didn't appear to be skating any extra forwards in warmups, so it looks safe to count Datsyuk after the forward missed the past five games. Staying healthy has been a bit of an issue for Datsyuk this season, but he's managed to deliver elite production when healthy. He has compiled 23 goals, 35 assists, and a plus-11 rating over his 57 games.

Datsyuk (lower body) will be a game-time decision for Saturday's tilt with the Lightning, MLive.com's Ansar Khan reports. Datsyuk has appeared to be on the cusp of a return for some time, but it still remains up in the air if he'll be able to play for yet another game. On a positive note, Datsyuk was able to take part in line rushes with Tomas Tatar and Darren Helm during Friday's practice, while also skating on one of the Red Wings' power-play units. With the team not holding a morning skate ahead of Saturday's 2:00 ET puck drop, look for Datsyuk's availability to be determined during pregame warmups.

Datsyuk (lower body) will not play Thursday against the Sharks, the Red Wings' official site reports. It was thought Datsyuk would be back by Thursday at the latest, but he just can't seem to shake this injury. The Red Wings also don't want to endanger hopes for him to play in the playoffs, so getting him back quickly hasn't been a huge priority. His next shot to play is Saturday against Tampa Bay.

General manager Ken Holland said that Datsyuk (lower body) could play Thursday against the Sharks. Datsyuk has been sidelined the last four games with the lower-body injury, after the Red Wings originally projected him to miss half that timetable. He's been able to skate the last couple of days to provide some evidence that he's getting healthier, but his status for Thursday's game may not be known for certain until after the Red Wings complete their morning skate.
