Sharp will not play Wednesday against the Blues and is expected to miss Friday's game versus the Canadiens as well, CSN Chicago's Tracey Myers reports. Friday's game will mark the first of a back-to-back set for the Blackhawks, so coach Joel Quenneville would probably want to avoid a scenario where Sharp has to reenter the lineup and log heavy minutes right off the bat. Quenneville hasn't shed any light into where Sharp would play on once he returns, so a top-six role may not be guaranteed immediately upon his activation.

Sharp (leg) will not play Wednesday against the Blues. Sharp will not return Wednesday as expected, but he was able to take the ice Tuesday, so there's a chance his return could be pushed back just one game. Expect the Blackhawks to update Sharp's status again later this week.

Sharp (leg) might not return by the expected Dec. 3 contest against the Blues, the Blackhawks Tweeter account reports. Sharp could return for the Dec. 5 contest at home against Montreal. He had started practicing last week. It will be on the long end of the three-to-four week prognosis when he went down on November 4. Sharp has been durable in the past including skating in all 82 games last season. He has nine points in 13 games this season.

Head coach Joel Quenneville expects Sharp (leg) to return to action Dec. 3, ESPN Chicago reports. Sharp resumed skating over the weekend, and he should be ready to resume playing after another week of practice. Sharp had nine points in 13 games earlier this season and 78 points in 82 games last season, so he should provide fantasy owners with a scoring boost once he officially comes off injured reserve.

Sharp (leg) has resumed skating in Chicago, Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune reports. The star winger is still on long-term injured reserve, and isn't expected to return during the team's current six game road trip. The news is still positive, though, since it means his recovery is still on track, and he should be back in the lineup in early December.

Sharp (leg) was moved to long-term injured reserve Friday. The move doesn't signal a change in Sharp's recovery timetable, as he's believed to be close to resuming skating and on track for a return in early December. The Blackhawks simply wanted to open up an extra roster spot, which will be reserved for Phillip Danault, who was recalled from AHL Rockford in a corresponding move.

Sharp (leg) is close to resuming skating and could join the Blackhawks on their road trip, Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. If Sharp does end up joining the team, it would likely be for the practice purposes, as coach Joel Quenneville indicated that it's "doubtful" the forward plays in a game before the Blackhawks return to Chicago on Nov. 29. Sharp still seems on track to be ready to go at some point in early December.

Coach Joel Quenneville said Thursday that Sharp (knee) is "making good progress" in his recovery, Tracey Myers of CSNChicago.com reports. Sharp remains under the three-to-four week return timetable the Blackhawks' prescribed for him last Thursday, putting him on track to return either later this month or early in December. He's yet to resume skating yet, but that could occur at some point next week.

Coach Joel Quenneville announced Thursday that Sharp (knee) would miss three-to-four weeks. As was expected, Sharp will be looking at essentially a month-long absence after he was forced out of Tuesday's game with the knee injury. The Blackhawks added Peter Regin from AHL Rockford to help restore some depth at forward, but it will be Brandon Saad who is expected to get the first crack at replacing Sharp on the Blackhawks' second line. Sharp has three goals and six assists over 13 games.

Sharp will miss at least a month with a right leg injury suffered in Tuesday's game, The Chicago Tribune reports. The Blackhawks have not provided an official update on Sharp's recovery timetable, but it appears he will be sidelined until sometime in December. Expect Sharp's status to be updated when the Blackhawks release more information, possibly sometime Thursday.
