Quenneville could end up shaking things up as the series progresses, but no matter whether Kane and Toews skate together or separately, the Blackhawks' fortunes will likely rise or fall with the performance of both players.

Kane dished out three assists in Saturday's Game 7 win over the Ducks. That's back-to-back multi-point games for Kane, who is up to 20 points this postseason -- second-most in the NHL. The 26-year-old was a machine in the Western Conference Final, cranking out three goals and seven points to help the Blackhawks advance to the Stanley Cup Final for the third time in six years. With 10 goals, three game-winners, 50 shots on goal and a plus-6 rating this postseason, look for the ultimate playoff performer to play a huge role in the final series against the Lightning.

Kane supplied an assist and tallied the game-winning goal in Wednesday's Game 6 triumph over the Ducks. The goal was a thing of beauty, as Kane danced past the Ducks' Matt Beleskey and found an open space behind goalie Frederik Andersen to give the Blackhawks a 3-0 lead. Kane has scored three times this series and has 10 goals overall in 16 playoff contests.

Kane registered the game-tying goal in third period of Saturday's eventual 5-4 double-overtime triumph over the Ducks. Minutes after the Ducks raced back from a 3-1 deficit to take a 4-3 lead, Kane sent the United Center crowd into a frenzy when he finished off a power-play feed from linemate Brad Richards with 7:21 left to play. The 26-year-old has been spectacular in the Blackhawks' 15 playoff contests, recording nine goals and six assists.

Kane extended his goal streak to five games and his point streak to seven Thursday, potting a goal and a power-play assist in a Game 4 victory against Minnesota. After a broken clavicle ended his regular season early, there were questions about what the 'Hawks would get out of Kane come playoff time. No more. He's only missed the scoresheet one time -- Game 3 against Nashville -- and suddenly is only a single point behind Corey Perry for the playoff scoring lead, though Perry's played three fewer games.

Kane scored the game's only goal Tuesday against the Wild, with his first-period power-play tally holding up for a 1-0 win and 3-0 series lead. It was his only shot on goal of the game, but it was the only one he needed. Kane's now on a six-game playoff point streak, and he's scored goals in four straight contests. He'll look to make it five Thursday in Minnesota as the Blackhawks go for the sweep.

Kane potted two goals -- one on an empty net -- in Sunday's Game 2 win over the Wild. Kane has been red-hot all playoffs as he's tallied at least a point in seven of the club's eight games thus far. With four goals and five assists in the postseason, the 26-year-old figures to be as reliable an offensive source as there comes the rest of the way.

Kane scored his second goal of the playoffs and added an assist in Saturday's series-clinching Game 6 win over the Predators. That's a three-game point streak for Kane, who has racked up seven points in six playoff games. Skating on the second line, the 26-year-old has been a factor every game, firing 19 shots on goal and registering a steady plus-3 rating. With 39 goals and 98 points in 99 career NHL playoff games, you expect more of Kane's magic in Round 2 and beyond.

Kane assisted on the Blackhawks' lone goal in Thursday's Game 5 loss to the Predators. After being sidelined for seven weeks with a broken clavicle, Kane hasn't missed a beat since returning to action for the Blackhawks' first-round series. He's provided a point in all but one of the five games thus far, netting a goal, four assists, and 18 shot attempts. That per-game production is almost exactly in line with what he provided prior to the injury, when he was considered one of the leading candidates for the Hart Trophy. Daily game players can probably feel confident building their rosters around Kane throughout the postseason.

Kane set up two goals in Wednesday's Game 1 win over Nashville. It was his first game since Feb. 24 after suffering a broken clavicle. And with the healthy return of Kane, the Blackhawks are now an early front-runner to go all the way in a quest for their third Stanley Cup in six years. Kane recovered from his injury in seven weeks -- five weeks earlier than the initial 12-week prognosis -- so look for him to continue scoring with regularity as this series marches on.
