Red Wings general manager Ken Holland believes Patrick Eaves (concussion/jaw) will be good to go for training camp.
The forward didn't play after suffering a broken jaw and concussion Nov. 26 when he blocked a shot from the Predators' Roman Josi. He saw the ice for only 10 games this season.

Patrick Eaves (concussion/jaw) has been able to skate recently, but not practice.
Of course with Detroit eliminated from the playoffs, Eaves focus has shifted to being ready for the start of the 2012-13 campaign. "I'm having less and less headaches," Eaves said. "I'm able to work out a little bit harder. I just have to stay with it. I'm very confident I'll be ready. We have some time here where I can recover, keep getting treatment. Should be good to go." Eaves hasn't played since Nov. 26.

Patrick Eaves (concussion/jaw) expects to be ready for training camp in the fall.
"I'll be ready for next year," he said. "It's still a process (he's still getting headaches) but I'm getting better. ... I still have a way to go but I'll be ready." He skated in only 10 games this past season after suffering a broken jaw and a concussion when he was struck by a shot on Nov. 26 against Nashville.

Patrick Eaves (concussion) isn't likely to play for Detroit in what's left of the regular season or playoffs.
"I think I'm pointing towards next season," Eaves said. "If I can make it back, great. But I'm more focused on taking care of this once and for all. I still have the headaches frequently." Eaves has been out since Nov. 26.

Patrick Eaves is able to go on the ice by himself now, but he is still suffering from headaches as he recovers from concussion-like symptoms.
"I'm doing a little better," he said. "I can skate by myself, but it's nothing serious. I think it's more therapeutic. It hasn't been fun, but I've been with my family and my daughter, so I'm trying to make the best of it." The Detroit winger said he has "good days and bad days" and he isn't sure if he'll be able to return this season.

Patrick Eaves is still suffering from concussion-like symptoms.
"I'm dealing with a lot of headaches right now, but yeah, it's getting better, slowly," said Eaves, who has been out of action since Nov. 26. "I have one pretty much all of the time." He also sustained a broken jaw that required surgery to repair when he was struck by a shot against Nashville, but that has healed. Detroit GM Ken Holland said last week that there's no timetable for Eaves' return.

Assistant GM Jim Nill said that Patrick Eaves is suffering from a concussion.
Eaves suffered a broken jaw on November 25 and it was thought he would be able to return by mid-January. It now makes sense why he did not return at that time. Consider Eaves out indefinitely and it is possible that his season could be over.

It doesn't sound like Patrick Eaves (broken jaw) is close to returning.
Although Eaves was originally projected to return in mid-January, Red Wings GM Ken Holland said that Eaves recovery "is not going well." Holland declined to offer a new timetable for Eaves return.

There's no timetable for Patrick Eaves' (broken jaw) return.
Eaves was originally projected to return in mid-January after having surgery on November 28th. That being said, we wouldn't be surprised if it ends up taking him longer. "He's not feeling as good and he's trying to get healthy," Red Wings coach Mike Babcock said. "We're all pulling for him to get healthy."
