What a night. It was Marner's first four-goal game in the NHL and his first hat trick, too. The first three goals were au natural in the first half of the second period. The fourth came on a Michael Bunting breakaway in the third. Bunting was caught by the Wings' defender and deftly drop passed to a pursuing Marner, who had a wide-open net. He's riding a three-game, nine-point scoring streak (four goals, five assists) and has 54 points in 43 games.
