Grabner (hip) is expected to rejoin the action Sunday against Detroit, the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The winger has missed five straight games due to his hip injury and had gone cold prior to that, failing to record a point in eight straight games prior to his recent absences. Assuming he's available, Grabner should see a significant amount of ice time in the tilt as he looks to break his pointless streak.

Grabner (hip) won't play Thursday against Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Grabner is reportedly making progress in his recovery from a hip injury, but he'll likely need to log at least one more full practice before returning to game action, which means he could potentially be available for Sunday's meeting with the Red Wings. The 29-year-old winger has been a pleasant surprise for the Rangers and fantasy owners alike in 2016-17, racking up an impressive 26 goals and 36 total points in 62 games. More information regarding Grabner's status for New York's next contest should be released in the coming days.

Grabner (hip) is improving and has an "outside chance" of playing Thursday in Carolina, per coach Alain Vigneault, ruling him out for Tuesday's game against the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
The assessment isn't necessarily encouraging for Grabner's fantasy owners but on the bright side, if he can't go Thursday, he'll have an excellent chance of playing Sunday in Detroit. J.T. Miller and Jimmy Vesey should continue to serve as the wings for New York's third line while Grabner remains on the shelf.

Grabner will make the trip with the team, but won't play in the first game Monday in Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
He'll get a chance to play again Tuesday, but it seems a bit unlikely that he'll be ready to go one day after missing a game. If he misses both those games, he'll get another shot on Thursday. With 36 points in 62 games, he's been a productive member of a high-scoring Rangers squad, so when he returns most fantasy owners should be prepared to slot him back into their lineups.

Grabner remains day-to-day according to head coach Alain Vigneault.
EDGE Analysis
Grabner leads the Rangers with 26 goals, although before his injury he had gone eight games without a point. This seems to indicate that Grabner won't be playing Saturday against the Canadiens, which means the earliest he could return is Tuesday.

Grabner (hip) will not play Thursday night's game in Boston.
EDGE Analysis
This will be the first contest that Grabner misses to this specific ailment and just the second game he'll miss on the entire season. Not much has come out regarding the severity of the injury and so he remains without a timetable for return as of now. After starting February hot with six points in four games, the 29-year-old hasn't recorded a point in eight consecutive games.

Grabner left practice early Wednesday with a hip issue, and coach Alain Vigneault said his status for Thursday's game in Boston is "up in the air a little bit."
EDGE Analysis
That's a rather noncommittal statement by the coach, but this doesn't sound like a major issue, so even if Grabner does sit out Thursday, it may be the only game he misses to this ailment. The veteran winger has had a breakout season with the Rangers, as he owns 26 goals and a plus-27 rating over 62 games. His status should be updated following Thursday's morning skate.

Grabner scored two goals (one an empty-netter) in the third period of Tuesday's win over Anaheim.
EDGE Analysis
He also put a season-high-tying six shots on net. Grabner now has 25 goals, which shockingly has him just five shy of Sidney Crosby's league-leading 30. No one saw this career-best season coming, and yet he just keeps at it. Grabner's shooting percentage is still rather high at 20.8, but he's been pouring shots on net quite consistently of late, which could mitigate any regression he experiences down the stretch.

Grabner scored his 23rd goal of the season and had an assist in Sunday's win over Calgary.
EDGE Analysis
Grabner's outstanding season continues, as he's already posted his highest goal output since 2010-11 and is sporting a plus-22 rating. He's currently skating on the third line and not playing on the power play, but Grabner's speed and lethal shot make him a fantasy weapon no matter where he is slotted in the lineup. The former Islander won't post a huge point total, but he's a solid goal scorer who is worth owning in most leagues.

Grabner scored a pair of third-period goals -- one shorthanded, the other an empty-netter -- to seal the deal in a 5-2 win over the Leafs on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
With that, the surprisingly valuable winger has shot past 20 goals -- the first time he's reached that mark since way back in 2011-12 with the Islanders, when he did so for the second consecutive season. That said, Grabner's sitting on a career-high shooting percentage (by far) of 21.6, so a slowdown should be expected -- although, to be fair, we've been saying that all year, and yet he still has seven goals in his last six games. Furthermore, that career-best plus-23 rating doesn't appear poised to drop anytime soon.
