Grabner will make his Devils debut during Saturday night's home game against the Islanders, NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The fleet-footed Austrian reportedly will assume a spot on the second line, opposite Kyle Palmieri with Pavel Zacha working down the middle. It doesn't appear that he'll be asked to resuscitate a power-play unit that ranks 20th overall, but Grabner scores plenty of goals at even strength. Prior to his trade from the Blueshirts, he'd scored 25 times in 59 games.

The Rangers traded Grabner to the Devils in exchange for a second-round pick and prospect Igor Rykov on Thursday, Darren Dreger of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Grabner was one of the biggest names on the trade market, as he's been a scoring machine for the Rangers over the past two seasons, racking up 52 goals and 71 points in 135 contests. He'll head to a New Jersey team that's fighting for a spot in the top three of the ultra-competitive Metropolitan division. The 30-year-old winger will be an unrestricted free agent after this season, so this is purely a deadline rental for the Devils.

Grabner (coach's decision) will not be in the lineup Thursday against host Montreal amid rumors that he could be traded, Brett Cyrgalis of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The speedy winger with a nose for the net will be an unrestricted free agent in the summer. He's scored 52 goals over 135 games since his tenure with the Rangers began ahead of the 2016-17 campaign, so there's bound to be interest in the Austrian among playoff contenders as a rental player.

Grabner scored two goals in a 6-3 loss to the Senators on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old continues to have a fantastic season scoring goals. In 58 games, that's 25 goals, and since he averages fewer than 15 minutes per game, Grabner is behind only Evgeni Malkin and Alex Ovechkin in goals per 60 minutes. It will be interesting to see if he can maintain his career-high 19.4 shooting percentage, but if he can, Grabner has a chance to set a new career best in goals.

Grabner scored a goal during a 3-1 victory over Winnipeg on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
After missing a game with an illness in late January, Grabner has bounced back strong, and notched four points (three goals, one assist) in 9 games. Grabner isn't being featured on the power play, but has been skating on the top six, and should continue to see opportunities in the offensive end. Additionally, the Austrian's 23 goals already is the third best mark of his career, and since he's firing off the puck frequently -- his 124 shots on goal is second most on the Rangers, only trailing Rick Nash -- he's a strong candidate to hit the 30-goal plateau.

Grabner (illness) will suit up for Sunday's tilt against Los Angeles, John Giannone of MSG Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Grabner's flu-like symptoms will only cost him one game in the press box, and Daniel Catenacci will be a healthy scratch in his return. The 30-year-old has excelled in lighting the lamp this season as he's already posted 20 goals in 46 games, already just seven shy of his total from 2016-17.

Grabner was a late scratch for Saturday's game against the Avalanche due to the flu.
EDGE Analysis
The fleet-footed winger reportedly will be replaced by Daniel Catenacci for this matinee. Consider Grabner day-to-day ahead of Sunday's road match against the Kings.

Grabner scored his 19th goal of the season and fired five shots on goal in Sunday's loss to Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
Grabner has 23 points in 44 games, but only four of those points are assists. The speedy winger continues to score at a great pace and is on track for one of the best seasons of his NHL career. He doesn't see power-play time, but Grabner keeps scoring, so keep getting him in your lineup.

Grabner scored his 17th goal in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
All 17 of Grabner's goals have come at even strength, which puts him in a tie with Alex Ovechkin for second in the entire NHL when it comes to even-strength scoring behind only Nikita Kucherov's 20 such tallies. The speedy Austrian's goal in this one required video review, as an Anaheim defenseman knocked it away out of midair just after the entire puck crossed the goal line.

Grabner had his team's first goal Wednesday in a 3-2 loss to Ottawa.
EDGE Analysis
Grabner might seem streaky because he's almost all goals (15 vs. two assists), but the reality is he hasn't gone more than three games without a goal since the end of October. Grabner might be a one-note contributor, but so far, owners have been able to count on that contribution at least once a week.
