Frolik posted the game-winning goal in overtime against the Flyers on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
It was shaping up to be a disappointing game for Frolik, as he hadn't recorded a single shot until one-timing a Mikael Backlund pass in overtime to beat Brian Elliott. The Czech winger is notorious for turning in dismal shooting percentages, but he's converting at a 10-percent clip through 19 games this season, and that's at least his best rate since registering a 13.3 value as a rookie with the Panthers in 2008-09.

Frolik registered a shorthanded goal, an assist, three shots and a plus-2 rating during Sunday's 5-4 win over New Jersey.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a quiet start to the season for Frolik, as this was just his second multi-point showing and ups him to only two goals and five assists through 14 games. Interestingly, the veteran winger is averaging a career-high 18:25 of ice time per contest, but he's primarily being matched up against the opposition's top players in a shut-down role.

Frolik recorded two shots through a season-high 21:40 of ice time during Thursday's 2-1 win over Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran forward has struggled to find the scoresheet this season with just a single goal and five points. Frolik is receiving plenty of ice time (18:17), but he's starting 61.6 percentage of his five-on-five shifts in the defensive zone and Calgary's 2.23 goals per game rank second last in the league. His unfavorable fantasy setup isn't likely to change, so Frolik is probably best left to the waiver wire in most seasonal leagues.

Frolik failed to register a point and spent 5:16 of his 18:46 of ice time shorthanded during Friday's 6-0 loss to Ottawa.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran winger found the scoresheet in consecutive games entering Friday and sports a goal and two helpers through five outings to start the campaign. Frolik recorded a respectable 17 tallies and 44 points last year, and he rolls with a dangerous five-on-five line alongside Mikael Backlund and Matthew Tkachuk, so there is fantasy upside. However, the 29-year-old is unlikely to take any sizeable step forward offensively at this stage of his career.

Frolik (wrist) is showing on the Flames' training camp roster ahead of the 2017-18 season.
EDGE Analysis
Perhaps best known for his speed and creativity within the attacking zone, Frolik played all 86 games -- including the playoffs -- last year, but the injury to his left wrist caused him to back out of the 2017 IIHF World Championship. View him as an attractive fantasy option if you need a guy who's proven capable of hoisting 200-plus shots over a full season and is utilized a fair amount on both the power play and penalty kill.

Frolik will not be available for Team Czech Republic at the 2017 IIHF World Championship due to a left wrist injury, Kristen Odland of the Calgary Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Frolik has actually been dealing with the injury since December, and the Flames' medical staff made it clear that they want him spending the offseason resting up, rather than prolonging the injury. With the added rest, Frolik seems like a good bet to be fully healthy heading into the 2017-18 campaign after playing in all 86 games for the Flames this season.

Frolik potted his 17th goal of the season in a 4-3 loss to Anaheim on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis

Frolik tallied two points -- a goal and an assist -- on the power play in Calgary's 3-0 win over Winnipeg on Saturday night.
EDGE Analysis
His point streak now stands at four games and six points, including four assists. Frolik has never scored more than 45 points in any season and that came in his rookie year in 2008-09. That could change this season -- Frolik has an outside chance at the 50-point plateau.
