Murray will get the starting nod for Game 3 against the Capitals on Tuesday, Chris Bradford of DK on Pittsburgh Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Murray will be looking to bounce back from his Game 2 performance, in which he gave up three goals on 31 shots in a losing effort. Even though the netminder didn't register a win Sunday, the responsibility for the defeat should probably land on the shoulders of the Thunder Bay native's teammates -- who were unable to register more than one goal (and a questionably recalled second). If the 23-year-old can at least limit the number of pucks that find their way into the back of the net -- he doesn't need to be perfect -- Sidney Crosby and company should be able to provide him with some increased offensive support.

Murray turned aside 28 of 31 shots faced during Sunday's 4-1 loss in Game 2 against the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Murray made some stellar saves, but was unable to stave off a Capitals team desperate for a win before the series shifts to Pittsburgh for Games 3 and 4. The two-time Stanley Cup-winner has an excellent postseason pedigree and has looked better in the first two games against the Capitals than in the previous series against the Flyers. However, the loss of Brian Dumoulin (upper body) in the second period is of definite concern, so keep an eye on the Penguins health as you consider him in daily formats moving forward.

Murray will be the road starter for Game 2 versus the Capitals on Sunday, Isabelle Khurshudyan of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Murray struggled at the end of the opening series against Philly, and some thought those issues would carry over after he allowed a goal just 17 seconds into Game 1, but he extinguished any lingering worries when he turned aside 32 of the next 33 shots to get the win. The 23-year-old will still have stiff competition Sunday as the Capitals look to even the series at 1-1.

Murray made 32 saves in Thursday's 3-2, Game 1 win over the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Murray dealt with some early-period struggles, allowing goals just 17 seconds into the opening frame and 28 seconds into the third. Pittsburgh's explosive offense erased the 2-0 deficit created by those tallies with a three-goal outburst in the final frame, and Murray continues to be a strong choice in net thanks in large part to the scoring prowess of the team skating in front of him.

Murray will get the starting nod against the Capitals for Game 1 on Thursday, Brian McNally of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Murray was injured last season when the Pens squared off with Washington, as Marc-Andre Fleury handled that series. The 23-year-old is 4-4-0 lifetime versus Washington with a 3.66 GAA. In his opening-round series, the Thunder Bay native posted a decent .911 save percentage that included a pair of shutouts.

Murray stopped 21 shots in Sunday's 8-5 win over the Flyers in Game 6.
EDGE Analysis
Neither team played much defense Sunday afternoon, but Murray made enough stops to send the Penguins through to the second round. The 23-year-old has had an uneven playoff so far, posting two shutouts against the Flyers but allowing three or more goals in three other games, and he will likely need to be a lot sharper against the winner of the Capitals-Blue Jackets series.

Murray will start Game 6 against the Flyers on Sunday, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
When Murray plays poorly, the Penguins suffer. In their first loss of the series, he allowed four goals on 19 shots, and in the second loss, he yielded three goals on 24 shots. The 23-year-old backstop only allowed one goal on 77 shots in the other three games. However, Murray has a 9-1 record and .939 save percentage in playoff games following a loss, so expect him to bounce back and give the Penguins a solid chance of clinching the series Sunday.

Murray allowed three goals on 24 shots during a 4-2 loss to the Flyers on Friday. The Penguins still lead the series 3-2.
EDGE Analysis
In many ways, this series has been all about Murray's goaltending. When he has made the timely saves, the Penguins have ran away with games, and when he hasn't, they've lost. The Penguins held a 2-1 lead Friday, but Murray failed to make a save on a shorthanded attempt, and then was unable to stop a puck that hit off Brian Dumoulin in front of the net with under two minutes to play in regulation. But, one has to figure Murray will be better in Game 6, as he is 9-1 in his playoff career following a loss.

Murray will tend the twine for Game 5 against the Flyers on Friday, Wes Crosby of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Murray has registered a pair of shutouts in the first four games of the series and is currently sporting a 1.27 GAA and .948 save percentage. However, those numbers include a disappointing Game 2, in which the netminder allowed four goals on 19 shots. Even when he does stumble, the 23-year-old should be able to count on some offensive support from his teammates, who are averaging 4.50 goals in the playoffs (highest in the league).

Murray stopped all 26 shots he faced in a 5-0 win over the Flyers in Wednesday's Game 4.
EDGE Analysis
Murray had some issues during the regular season, struggling to the tune of a 2.92 GAA and .907 save percentage. However, the playoffs have gone a lot better for him. The 23-year-old has two shutouts now, and in another game he made 26 saves on 27 shots.
