Dumba has an upper-body injury and will probably miss the next week according to head coach Bruce Boudreau.
EDGE Analysis
The defenseman got in a fight Saturday, but it's unknown if that is the reason for his injury. The NHL has a three-day break for Christmas coming up at the end of the week, so that will give Dumba some extra time to get healthy without missing time. It sounds like he will miss at least three games, though.

Dumba, who tussled with Matthew Tkachuk in Saturday's matinee against the Flames, left the contest after 5:37 of ice time due to an apparent injury.
EDGE Analysis
As noted by Michael Russo of The Athletic, Dumba actually retreated to the bench rather than the locker room after the fight, but no one is quite sure whether the star defenseman was unable to draw back into the game as a result of the actual fight or for another reason that wasn't readily apparent to viewers. Either way, expect the Wild to shed more light on the situation once the post-game show gets underway.

Dumba scored a pair of goals in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
Minnesota jumped out to a huge 5-0 lead against Montreal, aided by two power-play goals from Dumba who now has 12 goals and 21 points in 2018-19. With his pair of markers, Dumba ended a seven-game goalless drought. However, despite the lack of goals, Dumba has remained an effective fantasy commodity, picking up 13 points over his last 13 games. This has been the best season of Dumba's career, but it remains just 30 games old. That said, all signs point to the 24-year-old being able to maintain his current production levels.

Dumba's power-play assist from Tuesday's 4-3 road loss to the Coyotes extended his point streak to seven games.
EDGE Analysis
Dumba has five goals and just as many assists over the heater, and now he's tied with Nashville's Roman Josi and Ryan McDonagh of the Lightning at 18 points apiece for a 10th-place ranking among NHL defensemen. Dumba's accurate (and heavy) shot from the point makes him a terror for opposing goalies, but fantasy owners are loving what the sixth-year rearguard is bringing to the table, and there should be plenty more where that came from as he's averaging a career-high 24 minutes of ice time per game.

Dumba picked up two assists in Friday's 4-2 win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
He's now hit the scoresheet in six straight games, posting five goals and nine points over that torrid stretch. Dumba has already scored double-digit goals for the fourth straight season, and with 17 points in only 23 games, the 24-year-old seems intent on blowing by last year's career high of 50 points.

Dumba scored two goals in Wednesday's 6-4 win over the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
One of Dumba's markers came with Minnesota on the man advantage and also happened to be scored with 10 seconds left in the game's opening period. His second goal of the night came towards the end of the middle frame and gave Dumba 10 on the year, most by a defenseman in the NHL. Meanwhile, the Wild blueliner has been especially effective of late, notching five points in his last five games.

Dumba potted his fourth goal of the season in Saturday's 5-1 road win over the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
Dumba's second-period goal from the slot was challenged for offside by Blues coach Mike Yeo, but the tally was upheld and the Notes were penalized as a result of the failed challenge. A 24-year-old sneaking into the elite tier of fantasy defensemen, Dumba has produced seven points through his first 13 games this season, plus he owns an immaculate plus-40 rating over 323 career contests.

Dumba went plus-2 with a goal in Friday's 3-1 road win over the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
Dumba hunted down a loose puck from just outside the blue paint and secured the equalizer for the Wild in the third period. It's been a solid start to the new hockey season for Minnesota's 2012 first-round (seventh overall) draft pick, as Dumba now has three goals and an assist to complement a plus-5 rating through seven games. It's unrealistic to expect him to maintain a 17.6 shooting percentage, but he's locked into a power-play role to consistently benefit the Wild and fantasy owners alike.

Dumba was the lone scorer for the Wild in their 2-1 shootout loss to the Golden Knights on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Dumba ripped a one-timer past Marc-Andre Fleury in the first period, which was made all the more impressive by his ability to telegraph the puck through heavy traffic from the point. Dumba achieved career highs in assists (36), points (50), blocked shots (112) and hits (136) last season to put him squarely in the upper echelon of fantasy defensemen.

Dumba had three shots on goal and seven hits in 22:32 of ice time in Thursday's loss at Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Dumba didn't get on the scoreboard, but he was active on the offensive end and had 2:52 of power-play ice time. Working with Ryan Suter on the top defensive pairing, he'll have bigger nights.
