Dumba is coming off a disappointing 2019-20 campaign in which he failed to reach the 10-goal mark for the first time since 2014-15. The Minnesota blueliner figures to pair up with Jonas Brodin in the postseason, which should provide him the freedom to jump into the play in the offensive end and make him a solid fantasy option in DFS and pool play.

Dumba scored two goals -- one on the power play -- and added an assist in Thursday's 7-1 win over the Red Wings.

EDGE Analysis

Dumba came into this contest with just one goal since Nov. 12, so it was nice to see him finally break through offensively. The talented blueliner has been snakebitten this season, as he came into this game shooting just 2.6 percent. Perhaps this effort will set the career 7.5 percent shooter on the right path down the stretch, as Dumba needs four goals the rest of the way to hit double digits for a fifth consecutive season.

Dumba registered an assist and three hits in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Canucks.

Dumba made a strong defensive play and then set up Kevin Fiala for the opening goal just 1:03 into the first period. The defenseman has three assists in his last four games. He's up to 21 points, 143 shots, 81 hits and 79 blocked shots in 59 contests. While his offense hasn't been at his usual level, the 25-year-old defenseman represents a solid all-around option in deeper formats.

Dumba notched a power-play assist across 17:06 of ice time in Tuesday's win over Vegas.

Dumba produced a point for the first time in four contests, collecting his seventh power-play assist of the campaign. The 25-year-old continues to be a solid fantasy asset on the back end even if he's below his usual scoring pace, and he leads the team with 139 shots on goal this year. He's at 19 points, 76 hits, 78 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating in 56 outings.

Dumba scored the game-winning goal and added a power-play assist in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blackhawks.

EDGE Analysis

Dumba set up Kevin Fiala's second goal of the game in the second period. The defenseman then snapped a personal 33-game goal drought at 2:21 of overtime to secure the win. Obviously, scoring will be huge for Dumba's confidence. He's at 18 points, 129 shots, 75 hits and 71 blocked shots in 52 outings.

Dumba managed two assists, three shots on goal and a plus-3 rating in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Red Wings.

Dumba set up the Wild's first two goals, with the lone helper on Jordan Greenway's first-period marker and the secondary assist on Mats Zuccarello's goal in the second. The 25-year-old blueliner is up to 16 points, 124 shots, 73 hits, 68 blocked shots and 37 PIM in 50 games this season.

Dumba notched an assist in Saturday's 7-0 win over the Stars.

The assist snapped a four-game point drought for Dumba. He's at 14 points, 72 hits, 66 blocked shots and 116 shots on goal through 48 contests. The 25-year-old still hasn't reclaimed his scoring touch from 2017-18 after injuries shortened his campaign last year. While the potential is there, fantasy owners are better off without relying on Dumba for production currently.

Dumba posted an assist, four shots on goal, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Flames.

EDGE Analysis

Dumba set up Marcus Foligno's second tally of the game at 19:14 of the first period. The 25-year-old blueliner had an assist in each of the Wild's two games this weekend. He's at 13 points, 99 shots and 59 blocks through 43 outings. Dumba was cold on offense for much of the first half of the season, but he's started the 2020 calendar year in much better form.

Dumba picked up an assist Saturday in a 3-2 overtime win over the Jets.

EDGE Analysis

What a lost season so far for Dumba, who has just three assists in his last 24 games. The slick defender had 50 points two seasons ago but lost a lot of time to injury last season. Still, Dumba managed 22 points in 32 games in 2018-19. At this point, his 12 points in 42 games put him pretty much on the same pace but over a full season. We don't know what the issues are that are getting him down, but it's fair to say his second half has to be better than his first. Especially with Dumba's talents.
