As Minnesota seeks to nail down a playoff spot in the Western Conference, the 23-year-old has been a consistent force on the blue line. Over the past 20 games Dumba's averaged 24:11 of ice time and pitched in 12 points (one goal, 11 assists), while also going plus-nine and notching 34 hits over the span as well. On the season, Dumba's 36 points (10 goals, 26 assists) is already a career high, and after producing .78 points-per-game in his last three seasons in the WHL, he has the offensive talent to keep improving as the season wanes.

Dumba recorded two assists, four blocked shots and three hits during Monday's 5-3 win over the Islanders.

The emerging defenseman continues to provide excellent cross-categories for fantasy owners. Dumba is now up to 33 points, 113 shots, 37 PIM, 95 hits, 80 blocked shots and plus-8 rating through 59 games, and barring an injury, he'll cruise to career-best marks in most categories. It's also worth noting that the 23-year-old blueliner is just entering his prime years.

Dumba contributed two assists in a 5-2 win over Vegas on Friday.

When Dumba scores, it's going to be an assist more often than not. He's got 19 assists to nine goals and has just two goals in 2018, having failed to find twine in 12 of the Knights' past 13 games. He's an acceptable choice if you're looking for a cheap assist or two in daily leagues, but in most leagues, he isn't a starting option.

Additionally, with 64 shots, 18 PIM, 59 hits, 53 blocked shots and an even rating, Dumba is tilting the scales across all categories. Expect some offensive peaks and valleys moving forward, but there aren't many settings where Dumba shouldn't be owned.

Dumba didn't have any shots on goal in his last game, but he does have a pair of six-shot contests since Nov. 30. That offensive involvement should lead to more goals. He has three scores and 14 points in 28 games this season. In 2016-17, he registered 11 goals and 34 points.

Dumba scored the game-winning goal Saturday in overtime to lift the Wild 2-1 over the Blues. He also picked up an assist.

EDGE Analysis

Dumba is on an upward trajectory in terms of offense -- he's on pace to hit the 40-point park for the first time. But after potting 10 and 11 goals in the past two seasons, respectively, Dumba has scored just twice this season. His shooting percentage is well-below his career average, so expect a re-balancing soon enough.

Dumba received a $5,000 fine for unsportsmanlike conduct stemming from his squirting water at Joel Armia in Monday night's game against the Jets, Fox Sports North reports.

EDGE Analysis

Justified or not, the Canadian defenseman received the maximum fine under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Fortunately, Dumba's antics won't cost him any games, and fantasy owners can deploy him as normal for Thursday's home contest against the Golden Knights.
