Perreault potted a power-play goal to go with an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
Perreault scored the first of three unanswered goals for his team as they turned a 1-0 deficit into a 3-1 lead before hanging on for the victory. The winger has stepped up his production tremendously since being elevated to a second-line role on Feb. 16. Perreault managed just 17 points in his first 42 appearances, but has 16 points in 14 games since that move.

Perreault posted a goal, two assists and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 6-5 loss against the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
Perreault has come alive over the past five games, posting three goals with nine points and a plus-7 rating. He is making up for lost time after a brutal first few months by his standards. It helps playing next to rookie Patrik Laine and Mark Scheifele on one of the hottest scoring lines in the NHL. Enjoy the ride.

Perreault collected two assists and four hits in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
He's racked up six points in the last four games, taking full advantage of lining up with Mark Scheifele and Patrik Laine on the Jets' lethal second line. It's been an awful season for Perreault, but he's been a different player recently, including playing much more physically. Perreault has put up 17 hits in the last three games; before that, he was averaging just 1.2 hits per game. If that new dimension sticks, it'll obviously add to his fantasy value in leagues that count hits.

Perreault scored a first-period goal against Ottawa on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
This season has been slightly less productive than usual for the 29-year-old, but he's starting to heat up. Perreault now has two goals and two assists in the last three games while averaging 18:40 of ice time over these contests. If your league favors players that will do it all, Perreault has 14 hits and a plus-6 rating over the past three contests. Still, tread lightly as this production is unusual for him this season -- in the seven games prior to this streak, Perreault only had one assist while averaging 11:52 of ice time.

Perreault scored a goal and an assist in a 3-1 victory over the Canadiens on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
It was Perreault's first goal since returning from a thumb injury on Feb. 2. That's a good sign, but there's probably a pretty good chance owners have already given up on the 29-year-old. He only had five goals and 20 points with a minus-14 rating in 43 games. Despite a plus-4 rating in his last two games, Perreault still has the worst rating of his career. Not that he's scoring much anyway, but Perreault is clearly a liability in the plus/minus category.

Perreault (thumb) has been activated from injured reserve and will suit up for Thursday's contest in Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
The crafty centerman's production has dipped in the 2016-17 campaign, which has seen him go from a scoring third-line center and powerplay contributor last season to serving mostly as a fourth liner this season. Perreault will continue in this role Thursday, skating with Nic Petan and Chris Thorburn.

Perreault (thumb) could be a game-time decision for Thursday's game in Dallas, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's astounding to think that Perreault could be ready for a return less than two weeks after breaking his thumb, but that sort of toughness is what separates NHL players from the rest of the population. Perreault receives a lot of valuable ice time when he's healthy, including an average of 2:32 on the power play, so stay tuned for updates on his status prior to puck drop Thursday.

Perrault (thumb) isn't expected to play Tuesday night versus the Blues, though he did travel with the team to St. Louis and is said to be nearing a return, Jason Bell of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite tending to a broken thumb, Perrault has only been sidelined for two games (with a third upcoming) due to the ailment. The All-Star break afforded him some additional time to heal, and it's encouraging that he was able to join the team charter to The Gateway City. He was on a beastly run before sustaining the ailment, pitching in six assists and seven points -- including four power-play setups -- over a 10-game span. As such, it certainly will be worth monitoring Perrault as he rounds out his recovery.

Perreault is suffering from a broken thumb and will likely lose the fingernail on it, Paul Friesen of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
No official timetable has been placed on the winger, but the fact that it's broken combined with him potentially losing a fingernail, it doesn't appear as though his return will be all that soon. More information on the winger should surface as a timeline is set, but consider him out indefinitely until then.

Perreault (upper body) was designated for injured reserve retroactive to Jan. 24.
EDGE Analysis
By utilizing the ability to place Perreault retroactively, it is possible that the center will miss just one more game with the All-Star break giving most of the league some time off. Prior to getting hurt, the 29-year-old was on a hot-streak with six points in his last seven appearances. With Perreault out of the lineup, Andrew Copp will likely be tasked with picking up the slack with an uptick in ice time.
