The Lightning had won three straight prior to this one. They're five out of a playoff spot, but in all likelihood will play spoiler during the stretch run.

Lightning head coach Guy Boucher was pleased with Garon's performance in Saturday's win. "In the 3rd period he did what No. 1 goalies do, make the big save." Garon is a solid goaltender that is much better suited as a backup and given his track record, he shouldn't be counted on as a number one netminder. However, he's a decent third goalie to have on your fantasy team.
