Necas tallied 16 goals and 20 assists in 64 games prior to the league going on hiatus in mid-March.
EDGE Analysis
The 21-year-old has had a fantasy rookie showing, as his 16 goals rank fourth among NHL rookies and his points place him seventh. For the most part, those ahead of Necas on the list have received substantially more ice time than his 14:10, suggesting he still has another gear (or two) to shift into as he develops at the NHL level. Look for big things to come from the young Czech.

Necas scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 6-3 win over Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
The 21-year-old continues to show his long-term offensive potential. Necas has five points (two goals, three assists) in his last five games and 34 points, including 16 snipes, in 57 games. He's a solid keeper target and is obviously delivering enough offense to make him a viable redraft league play right now.

Necas tallied a goal and added a helper in Friday's 5-2 win over the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
Necas had a hand in Nino Niederreiter's opening tally in the first period. The Czech winger was then credited with a goal as a New Jersey defender swiped a puck into his own net. Necas has four goals in his last eight games and 15 markers on the year. He's up to 31 points, 72 shots and a minus-1 rating in 53 contests in a productive third-line role.

Necas scored a power-play goal on two shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Blues.
EDGE Analysis

Necas scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Necas opened the scoring 2:28 into the game with his 12th goal of the season. The 21-year-old doesn't generate a ton of shots -- he's had more than three in a game just once since Thanksgiving -- but he's turned in a nice rookie season nonetheless with 27 points in 45 games.

Necas scored a goal on two shots and added two blocked shots in Friday's 3-0 win over the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
Necas floated into the zone and went around the net before roofing a backhand shot with 10 seconds remaining in the second period. It was his 10th goal and 25th point of the season in 40 games. The Czech forward, in his first full NHL season, has locked down a role on the third line. He's added 56 shots on goal, 38 hits and an even plus-minus rating.

Necas picked up a power-play assist in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Necas continues to provide solid depth scoring with nine goals and four helpers through 37 contests this season. The 20-year-old plays in a third-line role, and while he doesn't have much physicality in his game (35 hits, 13 blocked shots), his offense could help fantasy owners in deeper formats.

Necas scored two goals, one on the power play, and added two even-strength assists in Monday's 8-6 loss to the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
It was a huge performance from the 20-year-old, who'd only managed one helper in his prior nine games and had never scored more than two points in any NHL contest. Necas now has eight goals and 21 points through 33 games in his first full campaign for Carolina.
