Necas collected a goal and an assist with two shots in Saturday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Necas opened the scoring just 1:38 into the game, snapping one inside the far post from the left faceoff circle. He also assisted on Sebastian Aho's game-tying goal with four minutes left in regulation. Necas cooled off a little bit after a blistering month of March, but he's starting to come alive again with two points in each of his last two contests. The sophomore needs just four more points to match the 36 he put up in 2019-20.

Necas scored a goal and added an assist Thursday in a 3-0 victory over Florida.
EDGE Analysis
The points snapped a five-game drought for the talented young winger. Necas has 30 points, including 20 assists, in 36 contests. That includes 10 points on the power play, three game-winning goals and a plus-18 rating. He'd be the toast of Canadian media if he played north of the 49th, but Necas toils in the relative obscurity of Raleigh. That's good for fantasy managers that are benefitting from his strong return on his draft position.

Great night for the winner, who has 28 points in 30 games this season. The Canes got another good one. We hope you did, too.

Necas registered an assist in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Necas found Sebastian Aho for a goal at 12:36 of the first period. The 22-year-old Necas is enjoying a breakout campaign with 15 points in 19 contests. He's added 41 shots on goal, 18 hits and a plus-9 rating in 2020-21. The Czech forward is entrenched in the Hurricanes' top six, so he should be a steady option in most fantasy formats.

Necas scored the overtime game-winner and added two assists, one on the power play, in Monday's 3-2 victory over the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
The 22-year-old had been held off the scoresheet in three straight games coming into Monday, but Necas erased his mini-slump with a vengeance. He's piled up an impressive two goals and nine points in the last 10 games, and even though Carolina's lines will get shuffled around once Teuvo Teravainen (concussion) returns to action, it's hard to imagine Necas seeing his role reduced given his recent form.

Necas (undisclosed) may be available for Saturday's matchup with the Stars, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Prior to getting hurt, Necas tallied one goal on 14 shots and three assists in his previous five appearances while averaging 19:23 of ice time per game. Once given the all-clear, the winger should be in the mix for regular minutes in a bottom-six role and could push for more responsibilities as the season goes on.
