Wild defenseman Marek Zidlicky expresses unhappiness with how he has been handled and would waive his no-trade clause.
There is definitely tension between Zidlicky and coach Mike Yeo, at least according to the defenseman's comments. Zidlicky, who turns 35 on Friday, says Yeo does not like how he is playing and that he would rather play elsewhere than be a healthy scratch. Zidlicky will be scratched for a third straight game tonight against visiting Nashville. He has 11 assists and is minus-6 in 34 games.

After 541 NHL hockey league games, Marek Zidlicky was a healthy scratch for the first time Saturday night.
The Wild won going away and Zidlicky may have to sit out another game or two as a result. Many believe that Minnesoata would love to dump Zidlicky and his salary. However, with his sub par play this season, that won't be so easy. If you have Zidlicky on your fantasy squad you will just have to be patient.

Captain Mikko Koivu tallied a goal and a helper in the contest, while Greg Zanon got into the scoring act as well with two assists. Dany Heatley scored his team-leading 12th marker of the season in the victory, which gives him five points in his past four games. The contest was a rough and tumble affair, with Matt Kassian leading the way with 20 minutes in the sin bin.

Marek Zidlicky (concussion) will be a game-time decision on Wednesday.
"He says he's ready," coach Mike Yeo said. "I feel like everybody's playing well. That's the tricky thing about it. Zid's a guy we have to get into the lineup. We have to get his game going. I felt like he was starting to come along before he got hurt." He has missed the last 13 games with a concussion, but could return to the point on the power play if Pierre-Marc Bouchard is unable to play. Clayton Stoner could also be the odd man out if Zidlicky is ready to dress.

Marek Zidlicky (concussion) has begun skating on his own.
Zidlicky will not accompany the team on its five game road trip as he attempts to recover from a concussion that has kept him out the last eight games. It is good news that he is skating on his own but there is still no timetable for his return as he has not been cleared for contact. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available but there will likely not be one until the Wild return home on December 14.
