Eriksson scored a power-play goal during Wednesday's win over Los Angeles.
EDGE Analysis
Beginning to show signs of putting the disastrous start to his tenure in Vancouver behind him, Eriksson has a goal, five points and 14 shots through his past seven games. He also led all Vancouver forwards with 21:16 of ice during Wednesday's game. This has the makings of a potential buy-low spot for the 31-year-old veteran, but don't forget that Eriksson needs to score because he doesn't tip the scales in the peripheral fantasy categories.

Eriksson registered two assists -- one on the power play -- during Friday's win over Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old veteran has been a major disappointment with just six goals and 14 points through 31 games this year. Eriksson had a bounce-back showing in 2015-16 (30 goals and 63 points), and he was handed a gig on the No. 1 line with Henrik and Daniel Sedin, but the trio didn't pan out. While capable of kicking his offensive slump, it's likely best to take a wait-and-see approach with Eriksson in most settings, especially since he's a low-volume shooter who doesn't move the needle in the peripheral categories.

Eriksson tracked down a bouncing puck for a goal Wednesday, helping his team to a 4-1 win over the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
Eriksson's been able to score in back-to-back games, and now he has lit the lamp three times over the last five. Still, he's predictably seen a significant drop in offensive production since leaving the Bruins after last season. The Swede registered a healthy 63 points in 82 in 2015-16, but he's on pace for 16 goals and assists apiece along with an unsightly minus-29 rating in his first go-around with Vancouver -- as a result, we have him pegged as an early bust in the fantasy realm.

Eriksson scored a goal against Dallas on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old has been in a slump to start the year, taking 14 games to find the back of the net. He has scored two goals in his last three games, so maybe he's breaking out, but he has been disappointing to many owners this year.

Eriksson recorded five shots on net over 19:57 of ice time during Wednesday's game against Montreal.
EDGE Analysis
After registering just 13 shots through the first nine games of the season, Eriksson's five shots Wednesday was encouraging. However, he's still looking for his first goal of the season and is no longer playing with Henrik Sedin and Daniel Sedin at even strength. Perhaps, new linemates will help, but as it stands, Eriksson's fantasy stock is plummeting.

Eriksson had two helpers in Sunday's loss to the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
An impressive outing for Eriksson, who assisted on Bo Horvat's shorthanded goal and logged 19:41 of ice time. Eriksson has yet to score this season, but he's piled up four helpers and is logging steady minutes. He's barely shooting the puck right now, but given his 30 goals in 2015-16 and potential to line up with the Sedin twins on any given night, it won't be long before he nets his first in a Vancouver uniform.

Eriksson scored twice in Thursday's preseason win over the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
Eriksson was acquired to add some scoring punch to the Canucks roster, and he did just that in this one. Expect him to skate on the top line with the Sedin twins this season.

Eriksson scored an empty-netter for Sweden with 2.6 seconds remaining in Tuesday's 2-0 win over Finland at the World Cup of Hockey.
EDGE Analysis
Goaltenders Tuukka Rask and Henrik Lundqvist stood tall in this one, but Eriksson was able to sneak his way onto the score sheet after Finland pulled Rask in search of a late equalizer. The sniper finished with a plus-2 rating and two shots on goal in the contest. He'll look to light the lamp early and often for Vancouver this season after scoring 30 goals for the Bruins in 2015-16.

Eriksson agreed to a six-year, $36 million contract with the Canucks on Friday, ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
There was initially believed to have been mutual interest in keeping Eriksson in Boston, but his new contract comes at an average annual value of $6 million and that's simply too much for the B's. The Bruins were the fifth-best scoring team in the league in 2015-16, and they remain deep at the forward spot even after dealing Eriksson. Look for the 30-year-old to slot right in with the Sedin twins in Vancouver, but understand that his fantasy value could take a hit given that the Canucks aren't nearly as proficient as his former club from an offensive standpoint.

Bruins president Cam Neely relayed that the team is in ongoing negotiations with Eriksson on a possible contract extension, NESN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Eriksson is slated to become an unrestricted free agent July 1 if the Bruins can't re-sign him, but there appears to be a degree of mutual interest in a deal to keep the veteran winger in Boston. "We'd like to try and sign him, as we've said, but it certainly has to make sense for both sides," Neely noted Wednesday. "For Loui's position, you don't get too many kicks at the can where you're unrestricted, and I think it's really a matter of if he feels like we've offered him something he can't turn down, then he'd take it. If not, then he's going to see what's out there."
