Okposo registered two assists in Saturday's loss to the Sabres.
Okposo's goal scoring has taken a dive this season, but he's still on pace to produce 73 points, which would surpass last season's career-best of 69. If John Tavares can manage to stay healthy for the full campaign, there's little reason to doubt Okposo's ability to remain a consistent performer. He's gone no more than three consecutive games without a point this season.

Okposo found the net on one of his seven shot attempts in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Canadiens.
Okposo has racked up an impressive 15 shot attempts over the past two games, during which he's recorded two points. He's been doing his best to show that his 69-point breakout from 2013-14 was no fluke, as he's clipped along at close to a point-per-game pace (29 in 34 contests) with no prolonged offensive droughts this season.

For the second time in three games, Okposo had a two-point night -- a goal and an assist -- against the Blues on Thursday, only to see his team take another loss.
Just like Saturday against these same Blues, Okposo's two points weren't enough. Nonetheless, he remains one of the more reliable offensive sources out there.

Okposo assisted on two goals in Saturday's loss to the Blues.
Both assists came on the power-play, giving him 11 points on the man advantage for the season. He's done well to build on his 69-point 2013-14 breakout, contributing five goals and 24 points over 27 contests.

Okposo collected two assists in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Lightning.
With four assists in his last four contests, Okposo is now averaging a point per game, essentially matching the production he delivered during his breakout 2013-14 season. So long as John Tavares continues to center him, the points should continue to trickle in at a steady rate for Okposo.

Okposo picked up a goal and an assist in Wednesday's OT win over the Ducks. He now has seven points in the last seven games.
Okposo has been as advertised this year, grabbing 14 points in 12 games -- the same point total as superstar linemate John Tavares. He has provided tremendous value, especially since he was likely drafted several rounds later than Tavares (who is a consensus fantasy first-rounder), and figures to continue to pile up the points after a 69-point breakout last season.

Okposo scored his fourth goal of the season in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Sharks.
Defenseman Nick Leddy found Okposo near the circle to stake the Islanders to an early 1-0 lead, but the Sharks would light the lamp for the final three times on the evening. Okposo has cooled off a bit after delivering seven points in his first four games, but with five points in his subsequent seven contests, he hasn't exactly fallen into a slump. He should remain a mainstay in any fantasy lineup.

Okposo delivered two more points Thursday, scoring a power-play goal and adding an assist to push his season-opening point streak to four games.
He's got seven points -- four on the power play -- in his four games so far this year. Keep riding the wave with the red-hot Okposo, as he and John Tavares work great together.

Okposo notched a goal and an assist Tuesday against the Rangers, pushing his season-opening scoring streak to three games and five points.
Okposo's been all over the ice in the early going. Coming off a 69-point season, he's showing there's no reason to think he can't do it again.

Okposo assisted on two Islanders goals in Saturday's 4-3 victory over the Hurricanes.
It hasn't taken long for Okposo to reestablish rapport with John Tavares on the top line, as the winger now has three points through the team's two games. He's still on the lookout for his first goal of the season, but that should come quickly, especially as the second line -- centered by the red-hot Brock Nelson -- starts to attract more attention from opponents.
