Look for Nabokov to start the next game for the struggling New York Islanders.

He was the best player on ice and maybe this will give him some needed confidence. Poulin still has a terrible 4-11-0 record with a 3.06 record and .896 save percentage. Maybe the Islanders will stick with Poulin for a while now.

This was an encouraging outing for Poulin, who is now winless in his last six starts. He gave up a goal in the second period and one midway through the third. Poulin has a 3.15 goals-against average and .888 save percentage this season.

They are 15-1-2 in the last 18 home games versus New York, though one of those losses was a 4-3 shootout defeat March 13.
