Ramo will head overseas to play with the Lahti Pelicans of the Finnish Liiga, Juha Hiitela of the Professional Hockey Writers Association reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ramo contract does have an NHL clause leading up to the trade deadline which would let him get out of the deal should an opening become available. Considering the netminder has failed to secure a job halfway through the season, it seems doubtful that anything would be forth coming, barring a significant injury.

Ramo was released from his professional tryout (PTO) by the Toronto Marlies of the AHL on Tuesday, Chris Johnston of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ramo is trying to make his way back from a torn anterior cruciate ligament and will continue to rehab the injury in Finland. He might get another look from some organization in the future, but it's clear he isn't close to a return to NHL game action.

Ramo inked a professional tryout agreement with AHL Toronto on Tuesday, Mark Masters of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ramo has been linked with the Maple Leafs all season, including skating with them at practice while still a free agent. The netminder is expected to suit up for a few games in the minors, essentially to show the organization he is healthy, and appears on track to agree to a contract with the Leafs. This first step in this process came Monday when current backup Jhonas Enroth was placed on waivers. That being said, Ramo is free to sign with any team while on his PTO, so owners will want to monitor this situation closely until this deal is signed, sealed, and delivered.

While he remains unsigned, the Maple Leafs allowed Ramo to practice with the team last Friday, The Canadian Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
The former Flames netminder suffered a torn ACL and had meniscus damage after leaving a game against the Sharks upon colliding with forward Joonas Donskoi this past February, as part of the 2015-16 season. Ramo reportedly has ties with Leafs GM Lou Lamoriello, which explains how he made his way into a practice with the club. We're barely over a month into the season, and a few teams could use extra insurance between posts -- Arizona and Los Angeles come to mind -- making it disconcerting that Ramo hasn't found work. It remains to be seen if Ramo will earn an extended look with Toronto.

Ramo (lower body) will miss the remainder of the 2015-16 campaign due to a torn ACL and meniscus damage, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The FAN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ramo is slated to undergo surgery later in the week, and is expected to require 6-to-8 months of recovery time as a result. The primary netminder for much of the season, he finished the 2015-16 campaign on a sour note, leaving Feb. 11's game against the Sharks having allowed five goals on 34 shots. over the duration, he compiled a 17-18-1 record to go along with a 2.63 GAA and .909 save percentage this season, in line with numbers from his past efforts. In his stead, Jonas Hiller will likely be leaned on the rest of the way, while Joni Ortio should figure into the mix as well. The 29-year-old Ramo enters the offseason bound for free agency once again after inking just a one-year deal with the Flames last June, and he'll need to prove his health before teams take a look at the Finn. While his numbers aren't eye-popping, there's still a chance the Finn could end up in a starting role in 2016-17, but that should work itself out when Ramo signs the dotted line.

Ramo (lower body) will likely have an MRI done over the next couple days, Roger Millions of Sportsnet Calgary reports.
EDGE Analysis
The fear is that Ramo may have suffered knee ligament damage after colliding with Sharks forward Joonas Donskoi in a game Feb. 11. Jonas Hiller will likely draw the majority of the goaltender starts in Ramo's abscence, with Joni Ortio backing him up.

Ramo has been placed on injured reserve with a lower-body injury and will stay in Calgary to undergo further evaluation, John Shannon of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ramo sustained the injury in Thursday's contest after colliding with Sharks forward Joonas Donskoi. He was promptly ruled out of Friday's game against the Coyotes and won't be eligible to return until Feb. 21 due to his placement on IR. Expect the Flames to summon a player from the minors to join Jonas Hiller as the only other healthy netminder on the active roster.

Ramo (lower body) left the game late in the third period after colliding with Joonas Donskoi.
EDGE Analysis
Head coach Bob Hartley said that Ramo will not be playing Friday night against the Coyotes. Hartley was also quoted saying that "it doesn't look very good" when asked about Ramo's injury. Jonas Hiller filled in for Ramo in his absence.

Ramo will receive the start in net Thursday against the Sharks, Derek Willis of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ramo stopped 16 of the 18 shots he faced in his last start Feb. 5 against the Blue Jackets, but it wasn't enough to emerge victorious. Following two nights off in favor of Jonas Hiller, Ramo will return between the pipes in the first game of a back-to-back set Thursday. In his return to the crease, Ramo will need to prepare for a Sharks club that's been inconsistent offensively of late, averaging just 2.25 goals per game in February.

Ramo allowed two goals on 18 shots in Friday's loss to Columbus.
EDGE Analysis
Not a great night for Ramo, who was outdueled by the much busier Joonas Korpisalo. Ramo falls to 17-18-0 on the season with a .911 save percentage. While he's had some strong appearances of late, Ramo has managed just two wins in his last eight games and has been plagued with consistency issues, so exhibit caution before deciding to put him in your lineup.
