Anderson (upper body) is probable for Thursday's matchup with Los Angeles, Craig Merz of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The club deciding to send Zac Dalpe down to the minors would seem to indicate it is fairly confident that Anderson will suit up, however coach John Tortorella didn't specifically clear him for action. If the winger is unable to give it a go, Oliver Bjorkstrand figures to slot into the vacated second-line role while Lukas Sedlak rejoins the lineup.

Anderson (upper body) is considered day-to-day ahead of Thursday's matchup with the Kings, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson's upper-body issue doesn't appear to be overly serious, but at this point he should probably be considered iffy at best for Thursday's contest. If Anderson's unable to go, Lukas Sedlak will likely draw into the lineup against LA.

Anderson suffered an upper-body injury and won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Canucks.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson is having a strong season firing the puck, scoring 12 goals and adding three assists in 30 games. He's not afraid to rough it up either with 74 hits. If Anderson's injury holds him out of Thursday's game versus the Kings, the Blue Jackets will likely make a call to AHL Cleveland to add depth.

Anderson scored an empty net goal while firing four shots on goal during Thursday's 4-1 win over San Jose.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson found the empty net in the dying embers of the game, scoring his seventh goal of the year to take over the team lead in the category. Anderson's four shots on goal were the team-high in the game, as the winger upped his point total to eight through 12 games this season.

Anderson scored a goal Thursday in a 6-3 win over the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old now has four goals on the young season and continues to stay relevant in fantasy despite playing nearly four fewer minutes per game than he did in 2017-18. Anderson presently finds himself in a bottom-six role, however, more performances like the one he had Thursday should earn him more ice time down the road.

Anderson sealed the 5-2 victory over the Avalanche with an empty-net goal Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
It was Anderson's only shot of the game. but he made it count. The winger has a pair of tallies through the opening three games of the season on 11 shots for an 18.2 shooting percentage -- a level he is unlikely to sustain throughout the year. The-year-old's production comes despite seeing a significant drop in ice time compared to last season (14:29 compared to 18:02).

Anderson earned a helper during Thursday's Game 4 matchup with Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Since returning from a 17-game absence due to injury, Anderson has been steadily productive with four points in six outings. Excluding Game 1, the Ontario native has been logging big minutes for the Blue Jackets (19:37 per game), which are somewhat inflated considering the first three games all went into overtime. Still, there is no denying the fact that coach John Tortorella appears to like the 23-year-old's work ethic and physical style of play.

Anderson scored a goal and had an assist in a 5-4 overtime win against the Capitals in Sunday's Game 2.
EDGE Analysis
The only splash Anderson made in Game 1 was picking up 15 penalty minutes, so this performance was certainly more beneficial to the Blue Jackets. Anderson missed a big chunk of the season due to injury, and he's only played in four games since returning. It's encouraging for Columbus to see him make an impact like this.

Anderson (knee) will play Thursday night versus the Penguins, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic Cleveland reports.
EDGE Analysis
This will be Anderson's first game since Feb. 26. He'll presumably settle in on the third line with Sonny Milano and Brandon Dubinsky as the Blue Jackets seek to pick up at least one point to clinch a playoff spot. Anderson has picked up 18 goals and 11 assists to mirror his points output from the 2016-17 campaign, when it took him 17 more games to reach that mark.

Anderson (knee) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice and declared himself ready to play Thursday against the Penguins, Steve Gorten of The Columbus Dispatch reports. "He [coach John Tortorella] just asked me how I felt. I said I felt pretty good," Anderson said after the practice. "It's up to him. I'm just going to be waiting here, ready to play whenever. "
EDGE Analysis
The winger has missed 17 games with the injury, but still has a couple of games left in the regular season to get back on the ice and shake off any rust before the playoffs. With the Jackets' offense flying high right now, though, Anderson will likely have to settle for a bottom-six role when he does rejoin the lineup despite his career-high 17 goals in 61 games.
