Eberle scored a goal in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime loss to Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
Eberle delivered against his former team, tying the score 4:43 into the second period, less than three minutes after Leon Draisaitl got the visitors on the board. The 27-year-old forward has lit the lamp five times in his past five games after being held without a goal in his first 10 appearances for New York.

Eberle scored twice in Sunday's win over the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
Eberle has developed chemistry with Mathew Barzal on the second line and is now up to four goals and 11 points in 14 games. The 27-year-old is off to a very strong start and appears destined for a bounce-back campaign. The new change of scenery is working out nicely and he's seeing plenty of minutes both at even strength and on the power play. Keep him rolling.

Eberle fashioned two goals (one on the power play) to complement an assist in Saturday's 6-2 road win over the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Amazingly, he did all of this point packing over a mere 13:276 of ice time. Eberle's top-six assignment and consistent role with the man advantage keeps his fantasy stock at a premium. Now, he's up to nine points (two goals, seven assists) through 11 games, adjusting quite well for his first season with the Isles.

Eberle was practicing on the second line with Brock Nelson and Matthew Barzal on Friday, Arthur Staple of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
This has sort of become a running joke with the Islanders, trying to find a right wing that can play with John Tavares. The Isles traded for Eberle with the idea that he would solve that problem but with zero goals and six assists in 10 games he doesn't seem to be the answer. This could be just a wake up call of course but for now Eberle won't play with Tavares at even strength or on the power play.

Eberle recorded two assists, two shots and a plus-2 rating during Tuesday's 5-3 win over Arizona
EDGE Analysis
The first-year Isle is off to a respectable start with six assists through nine games. Fantasy owners would certainly like to see Eberle find the back of the net sooner than later, though. With a fresh start in Brooklyn, and an assignment flanking John Tavares in all situations, Eberle is poised for a bounce-back campaign.

Eberle (undisclosed) declared himself ready to play in Saturday's road game against the Sharks. "It felt good during morning skate," he said. "I'm ready to go and excited to get back."
EDGE Analysis
Look for Eberle, who was shaken up after a hard hit in Thursday's practice, to reprise his role on the top line and first power-play unit, skating with the likes of Anders Lee and John Tavares. Eberle has set up two goals through the first four games, but his defense could use some patchwork as evidenced by his minus-3 rating in the early going.

Eberle's status is uncertain for Saturday night's contest after taking a hard hit in Thursday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
According to head coach Doug Weight, Eberle will be evaluated after Friday's practice before the team decides if he'll suit up on Saturday. The 27-year-old has recorded two assists in his first four games as an Islander, and is second among forwards on the team with 17:22 average ice time.

Eberle is projected to be on the top line with John Tavares and Anders Lee in the upcoming season, NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Formerly with the Oilers, the skilled right winger was traded to the Islanders in June in a straight up deal for Ryan Strome. Last season, Eberle played all 82 games for the first time in his seven-year career and proceeded to register 20 goals and 31 assists -- including 14 man-advantage points. This year, he'll assuredly see more ice time than the 16:46 average in his previous go-around with the Oil, and being the right flanker to Tavares -- who's amassed 537 points in 587 regular-season contests -- definitely has its advantages.

Eberle was acquired by the Islanders from the Oilers in exchange for Ryan Strome on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Eberle instantly becomes the highest paid forward for New York as he brings his $6 million cap hit. The winger compiled 51 points and 208 shots on goal while averaging just 16:46 of ice time this past season. The Isles will hope that the acquisition of the former first-round pick will help convince John Tavares to re-sign with the team before the end of the 2017-18 campaign when he is scheduled to hit free agency. Look for the 27-year-old Eberle to slot into a first-line role which figures to increase his fantasy production this year.

Eberle had no points, no shots and a minus-1 rating in Wednesday's Game 1 win over Anaheim.
EDGE Analysis
Eberle has been a bad bet this postseason. He hasn't put up a point since the opening game and has only played more than 15 minutes once and that was an opening round overtime match.
