Quick (lower body) is not listed on injured reserve, according to the NHL's official media site.
EDGE Analysis
On Sunday, Quick showed up on the TSN transaction log and designated for IR, but he currently doesn't carry that designation on the NHL's official site or the site that's run by the Kings. Still, there is no timeline for Quick's return from his latest lower-body injury.

Quick (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Sunday, TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Quick's troubles with lower-body injuries have been well-documented. He had that devastating groin injury in the 2016-17 campaign, and this is already his second stint on IR as the result of a lower-body concern this season. The American netminder will be eligible to return Nov. 1 against the Flyers, but it all depends on whether he'll actually be in good enough shape to make that start. Jack Campbell will be the interim No. 1 starter for the Kings.

Quick suffered a lower-body injury and will not play Sunday against the Rangers, Jay Rosen of Fox Sports West reports.
EDGE Analysis
Petr Budaj will be recalled ahead of Sunday's puck-drop, and we presume Jack Campbell will man the net for the Kings. Quick is considered day-to-day and will next be evaluated at some point next week.

Quick conceded four goals on 23 shots Tuesday, taking a 4-2 loss to the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
That's now three consecutive games since returning from a lower body injury where Quick has allowed at least four goals, which certainly wasn't what Los Angeles was hoping for when he regained the starting role. Quick's pedigree could give him some leeway as far as holding his job, but the fact remains that backup Jack Campbell played well in much of his absence and the Kings have lost five straight contests. Regardless of what L.A. decides to do, it might be wise to use Quick sparingly until he shows he's back to full strength.

Quick will tend the twin Tuesday versus the Stars, Matthew DeFranks of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Quick has struggled in two games since returning from a lower-body injury, as he's allowed 10 goals on 54 shots for a .815 save percentage and two losses against the Sabres and Islanders. The veteran netminder has another light matchup against a team averaging just 2.7 goals per game to rank 23rd in the league. If he produces another dud, the team could be looking back to Jack Campbell, who showed exceptional potential to begin the year before regressing to the mean.

Quick stopped 21 of 25 shots in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Sabres.
EDGE Analysis
His return from a lower-body injury has been anything but a success, as Quick has now coughed up 10 goals on 54 shots in two starts. It's fair to wonder whether he rushed back from the injury in an effort to turn around the Kings' poor start to the season, but the 32-year-old goalie hasn't posted a save percentage below .915 since 2012-13 and he should get back to his usual form soon enough.

Quick will start against the visiting Sabres on Saturday, John Vogl of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Quick is 0-1-1 with a 4.82 GAA and .855 save percentage through two games for the Kings this season. It's such a small sample size because the traditional starter missed five games with a lower-body injury before getting lit up for six goals on 29 shots in his return against the Sharks on Thursday.

Quick permitted six goals on 29 shots to the Islanders in a 7-2 home loss Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Making his return from a lower-body injury, Quick faltered in front of a sold-out crowd, but the Kings had to adjust on the fly due to top two-way forward Anze Kopitar being a late scratch due to illness. Quick still logged 49:10 of crease time this contest before Jack Campbell stepped in and allowed one goal on three shots. The royal club won't have much time to regroup, as it'll go right back to work against the Sabres on Saturday afternoon.

As expected, Quick (lower body) will patrol the crease in Thursday's home matchup with the Islanders, Lisa Dillman of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Quick has missed the Kings' last five games due to a lower-body injury, but he returned to a full practice Wednesday, which was the first indication that he may be ready to rock Thursday. The American netminder will look to pick up his first victory of the campaign in a home matchup with an Islanders club that's only averaging 2.40 goals per game this season, 25th in the NHL.

Quick (lower body) was the first goalie off the ice at Thursday's game-day skate, an indication he will get the starting nod against the Islanders, Jon Rosen of Fox Sports West reports.
EDGE Analysis
Quick -- who is still listed on injured reserve per the NHL media site -- would be suiting up for the first time since Opening Night against the Sharks. After a five-game stint on the sidelines, the Connecticut native appears set to retake the starting role from Jack Campbell who has deputized in his stead.
