Quick is day-to-day with a lower-body injury, Jon Rosen of Fox Sports West reports.
EDGE Analysis
This puts Quick's chances of starting Sunday's game versus the Red Wings in jeopardy. If he can't go, expect Jack Campbell to protect the net with the Kings likely making an emergency recall for a backup goalie.

Quick allowed three goals on 33 shots in a 3-2 overtime defeat against the Sharks on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old stopped all 22 shots he saw in the second and third periods, but allowing two early goals and the overtime marker gave him a below average stat line. Quick won his second Jennings Trophy last season with a 2.40 GAA, and that was actually his highest GAA since 2012-13. It wouldn't be surprising to see Quick return his GAA to below 2.30 and post a save percentage around .918 this season.

Quick is listed as the starter on the official game roster for the Kings' home matchup against the Sharks on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Quick is 15-11-5 with a 2.52 GAA and .910 save percentage over 33 career appearances against the divisional foe. The Kings' No. 1 backstop wasn't the sharpest in the preseason, though, as he carried a 1-2-0 record, 3.79 GAA and .880 save mark through four games.

Quick allowed three goals on 37 shots in Saturday's 3-0 home loss to the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Quick played far better than the score indicates. Two of the Ducks goals came off turnovers, and the other was a slick cross-ice pass from captain Ryan Getzlaf to Troy Terry, who ripped a one-timer past the veteran backstop. The 32-year-old owns a 293-195-56 record, 2.28 GAA and .916 save percentage over 11 years of service time with the Kings. One more shutout will give him 50 for his career.

Quick will be between the pipes for the home team against the Ducks on Saturday, Eric Stephens of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Quick is locked into the starting role for the Kings, and nothing is going to change that. Don't be surprised if he doesn't play a full game in the preseason finale, as there is no reason for Los Angeles to risk his health.

Quick is slated to get the starting nod against the Canucks on Monday, Jon Rosen of Fox Sports West reports.
EDGE Analysis
Including Monday, Quick will likely see action in at least two of the Kings' final four tuneups before Opening Night against the Sharks on Oct. 5. The netminder has hit the 40-win mark just once in his career, but certainly has the talent to get back to that threshold this season -- whether he has the team around him to provide offensive support remains to be seen.

Quick will get the home start in Thursday's split squad matchup with the Golden Knights, Jon Rosen of Fox Sports West reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Peter Budaj get the nod in Vancouver, Quick will be between the pipes with the group that includes Ilya Kovalchuk, Anze Kopitar and Drew Doughty. After missing nearly all of 2016-17, Quick was back to his old self, including appearing in 60-plus games and racking up over 30 wins -- two marks fantasy owners can likely expect the netminder to reach again this season.

Quick received the start for his preseason debut Tuesday night, allowing two goals on nine shots to the Coyotes over 30:06 before Cal Petersen took over to finish the game. The Kings lost the split-squad game, 4-3.
EDGE Analysis
Quick yielded a power-play goal to Brendan Perlini in the first period, and then prospect Conor Garland put one past him in the second. Unlike the 2016-17 campaign, Quick managed to stay healthy last season, posting a 33-28-3 record (five shutouts), 2.40 GAA and .921 save percentage. He stood on his head against the Golden Knights in the preseason, but the young club still swept the Kings in the conference quarterfinals, despite Quick's sterling 1.55 GAA and .947 save mark over those four games.

Quick saw his season come to a close Tuesday, making 20 stops as the Golden Knights completed a four-game sweep with a 1-0 Game 4 result.
EDGE Analysis
Quick was slightly outplayed by Vegas goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury all series, as this was the fourth consecutive one-goal decision to go Fleury's way. Los Angeles finished with 10 more shots on goal than the visitors in this one, but the only puck to get by either netminder came off the stick of Quick's former teammate Brayden McNabb. While the playoffs weren't kind to Quick this time around, at least he was able to get his team there with a strong regular season that featured the second-best save percentage of his career (.921). It was nice to see him back at full strength after his 2016-17 campaign was derailed by a groin injury that limited him to 17 appearances.

Quick is slated to defend the net during Game 4 against the Golden Knights, Jon Rosen of Fox Sports West reports.
EDGE Analysis
Quick posted a couple of solid outings on the road in Vegas in Games 1 and 2, but he struggled to the tune of an .885 save percentage and 3.10 GAA in his first playoff game on home ice. Now facing a 3-0 deficit, the veteran netminder will need a boost in offensive support if he's to avoid a sweep at the hands of the Golden Knights.
