Quick has been super sharp recently, maintaining an impressive 1.47 GAA and .953 save percentage through his last two starts, but he's gone 0-1-1 over that span due to a lack of goal support from his teammates. The 35-year-old backstop will attempt to get back in the win column in a home matchup with a Toronto team that's only averaging 2.54 goals per game on the road this year, 25th in the NHL.

Quick surrendered two goals on 27 shots in Sunday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Coyotes.

Quick couldn't make a 1-0 lead from Brendan Lemieux's second-period tally stand. The 35-year-old goalie ran his streak of allowing two or fewer goals to six straight starts. He has a 4-4-2 record with a 1.88 GAA and a .939 save percentage in 10 appearances. The Kings play only twice next week -- Wednesday versus the Maple Leafs and Saturday versus the Senators. Quick will likely start the latter of those two contests since he's alternated games with Cal Petersen throughout November.

As has been the case all month, Quick continues to alternate starts with Cal Petersen. Over his last five appearances, the 35-year-old is 4-1-0 with a terrific 1.19 GAA and .963 save percentage. This season, he's 2-3-0 at home despite a strong .930 save percentage in five games.

Quick made 36 saves on 37 shots in Wednesday's 2-0 loss to the Capitals. The second goal was an empty-netter.

Neither Quick nor Ilya Samsonov ceded a goal until late in the third period when Garnet Hathaway caught Quick out of position with 3:30 left in the game. This was a tough way for Quick to lose his four-game winning streak, as he played excellently despite the result. He's alternated starts with Cal Petersen lately -- expect Petersen to start Saturday versus the Hurricanes while Quick would get a more favorable matchup with the Coyotes on Sunday if the pattern holds.

Quick was the first goalie off the ice at morning skate, indicating he'll get the start in goal in Thursday's road game versus the Senators.

Quick has been on a roll recently, picking up three straight wins while posting an impressive 1.63 GAA and .946 save percentage. The 35-year-old netminder will try to secure a fourth straight victory in a road matchup with a struggling Ottawa team that's lost three straight games.

Quick kicked out 33 of 34 shots in a 5-1 win over Toronto on Monday.

Quick was perfect at even strength, stopping all 28 shots he faced, and only gave up a John Tavares power-play tally early in the second period. It was the first road win of the season for Quick, who evened his overall record at 3-3-1 to go with a stellar 2.26 GAA and .924 save percentage.
