Ericsson will not play Monday against the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
Ericsson was considered doubtful for the contest coming in, but has officially been ruled out following Monday's morning skate. Jakub Kindl will continue to draw into the lineup in the blueliner's place, making Ericsson's next chance to return Tuesday against the Jets.

Ericsson (upper body) isn't expected to be ready for Monday's game against the Wild, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ericsson missed each of the past three contests because of the issue, and it appears another one is on tap. If that's the case as expected, the blueliner's next chance to play then comes Tuesday against the Jets.

Ericsson (upper body) will miss Saturday's game but remains day to day, Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
This will be the third game Ericsson has missed with the injury. His next chance to return will be Monday against Minnesota, a game he should be able to take part in. It will depend on how much practice he can take part in Sunday and Monday.

Ericsson (upper body) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
Ericcson was confirmed out Tuesday by coach Jeff Blashill. The defenseman will miss just his second game of the season, but will hope to get back into the lineup after the Holidays. The 31-year-old has been solid defensively, putting up a plus-7 on the year, but is not a frequent contributor on offense, with just five point on 32 games.

Head coach Jeff Blashill indicated Monday that Ericsson (upper body) is considered doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Devils, George Sipple of the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ericsson suffered the upper-body injury in Friday's contest, and it sounds like it will more than likely hold him out at least an additional two games. If that's indeed the case, his next chance to return would come Saturday against the Predators.

Ericsson (upper body) will not play in Sunday's game against the Flames, Ansar Kahn of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ericsson was considered a game-time call for the contest Sunday, but must not be doing well enough to give it a go. As a result, Jakub Kindl will draw into the lineup in his place, making the blueliner's next chance to return Tuesday against the Devils.

Ericsson (upper body) did not take part in Sunday's morning skate, and remains a game-time decision for the evening's contest.
EDGE Analysis
Ericsson was considered questionable entering Sunday, and his absence from morning skate didn't improve his chances for the game. He'll be a game-time decision, but if the blueliner can't go, Jakub Kindl will draw into the lineup in his place.

Ericsson sustained an injury to his upper body Friday night, leaving him questionable for Sunday's showdown with the Flames, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Red Wings head coach Jeff Blashill said Jakub Kindl will draw into the lineup if Ericsson is unable to give it a go Sunday. While Ericsson only has five points in 32 games this campaign, three of those points (assists) have taken place this month. He should be considered day-to-day for now.

Ericsson delivered two more assists in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Lightning. He now has four assists in six postseason games; those four points have come in the last three games. It's sweet production for a guy who had 15 points all season had two points in his previous 22 games. There was always plenty of potential in him, but he has settled into the role of sturdy, low-maintenance crease clearer. Nice output, though.

Ericsson picked up a pair of assists and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's Game 3 victory over Tampa Bay. The second one came on an empty net, but you won't hear the few Ericsson owners complaining. Indeed, there must be precious few, considering the blueliner last picked up a point March 26 and didn't have a single multi-point game all season long.
