Gaudreau is off to a hot start with five points in three games to start the season.
EDGE Analysis
Gaudreau notched another assist in Tuesday's loss to the Blues, extending his point streak to three games. Gaudreau used his quick hands to get Jiri Hudler the puck on the doorstep for a power-play goal late in the first period. He scored 64 points in 80 games last season en route to becoming a Calder Trophy finalist. He's currently fourth in the NHL in points in the early goings, and if he keeps this pace up, may compete for a scoring title.

Gaudreau scored the overtime winner and added two assists in Saturday's 3-2 win over Vancouver.
EDGE Analysis
Gaudreau was dynamite all game, adding four shots on 20:19 of ice time, second only to Sean Monahan among forwards. Gaudreau now has four points in two games on the season after scoring 64 in his rookie year, which means the slick winger is not showing any signs of slowing down. The former Boston College sniper should've been a high-round pick in fantasy leagues across the board.

Gaudreau scored the tying goal on a power play with 20 seconds remaining in the third period of Tuesday's Game 3, sending it to overtime, where the Flames came away with a 4-3 win.
With the net behind him empty and a six-on-four opportunity, Gaudreau brought the puck down into the offensive zone, saw some space open up, stepped into it, and fired the puck past Frederik Andersen. The goal represents his first point of the series, as the Ducks did a tremendous job of shutting down Gaudreau over the first two games, limiting him to just a single shot on goal in each contest. Can't keep Johnny Hockey down for long, though.

Gaudreau scored his second goal of the playoffs and had two assists in Saturday's series-clinching Game 6 win over Vancouver.
Gaudreau had a great first round, registering six points in six games. He was held off the scoresheet in just two of the games and logged over 20 minutes of ice time in Games 4, 5 and 6. The 21-year-old is a rising fantasy stud and will play a key role for the Flames once again in Round 2 against the Ducks.

Gaudreau scored his first NHL playoff goal -- a power-play tally -- in Tuesday's Game 4 victory over the Canucks.
Vancouver managed to keep him off the scoresheet in Game 1, but since then, Gaudreau has pointed in each contest, helping the Flames build a 3-1 series lead. He's not a future star -- he's just a star, period.

Gaudreau recorded an assist in a 4-2 Game 3 win against the Canucks on Sunday.
Gaudreau is continuing his stellar rookie campaign into the postseason, with two assists and eight shots on goal in three games. His first career playoff goal can't be far off with how much he's shooting, and he's proving he can handle the increased pressure of the playoffs.

Gaudreau (rest) is skating as an extra in warmups and isn't expected to play Saturday against the Jets, Wes Gilbertson of the Calgary Sun reports.
The Flames were able to clinch their spot in the playoffs with Thursday's win over the Kings, so it appears Gaudreau will be among the many regulars who will sit out Saturday. He'll finish his rookie season with 24 goals and 64 points over 80 games, giving him a decent chance at coming away with Calder Trophy honors.

Gaudreau scored his 24th goal and dished his 40th assist Thursday in a 3-1 win over Los Angeles.
With the win, Calgary clinched a playoff spot, and much of the credit for the Flames' franchise turnaround has to go to their 2011 fourth-round pick, who's revitalized this offense -- especially linemate Jiri Hudler -- with his creative offensive play. He's netted 64 points while missing just two games in his rookie campaign, and he's done it despite being perhaps the lightest player in the entire league.

Gaudreau upped his assist total to 39 on the season with a helper in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Blues.
Gaudreau has been far beyond what the Flames could have hoped for from the rookie. He certainly is in the running for the Calder Trophy and is already a fantasy stud along with linemates Sean Monahan and Jiri Hudler.
