Pageau tallied two assists and added a short-handed goal in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
The 5-foot-10 center also racked up five hits in his terrific performance. Pageau totaled a season-high 20:54 of ice time, so there may be some correlation with his scoring. The 24-year-old is still more of a physical player than a scorer and his fantasy value shouldn't change much despite the big night.

Pageau assisted on Dion Phaneuf's opening goal in Tuesday's loss to Los Angeles.
EDGE Analysis
Pageau has had a slow start to the season, managing just three assists in nine contests. The third-line center put up 33 points last season, but is too inconsistent to be trusted in most fantasy leagues. He's a great depth scorer when he's at his best, so if he catches fire, take notice and snatch him up temporarily in a deeper format.

Pageau joined the Senators' second line against Toronto in response to injuries, the Ottawa Citizen reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pageau broke out in the postseason last year, and the Ottawa native has a chance to earn more ice time with Derick Brassard recovering from shoulder surgery and Colin White out with a broken wrist. If he's skating with Mark Stone and Bobby Ryan in October, Pageau should be in position to surpass last year's total of 33 points.

Pageau settled on a three-year, $9.1 million contract with Ottawa on Monday -- avoiding arbitration, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pageau tallied seven goals during the first two rounds of the postseason, but disappeared in the Eastern Conference finals as he managed a mere one goal and two assists. Vanishing act aside, it was a solid playoffs for the center considering he tallied just 33 points in 82 regular-season outings. Given the depth down the middle of the Sens' lineup, the 24-year-old will likely be stuck in a bottom-six role behind Kyle Turris and Derick Brassard, but his ability to play on the wing could increase his minutes during the 2017-18 campaign.

Pageau filed for arbitration ahead of Wednesday's 5 p.m. ET deadline, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports.
EDGE Analysis
According to CapFriendly, the Senators currently have $10.71 million in cap space available, with Pageau and another forward in Ryan Dzingel being the only two restricted free agents in need of a fresh contract ahead of the 2017-18 campaign. Pageau is a shorthanded specialist who notched 76 points without missing a game over his most recent two-year term with the Senators, and that'll certainly be a bargaining chip used by his agent and/or an arbiter upon settling a new contract. The 24-year-old's camp can still negotiate with the Senators after the filing deadline passes.

Pageau opened the scoring and then assisted on Bobby Ryan's overtime winner in Game 1 against the Penguins on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Pageau's perfectly placed shot off a great Bobby Ryan pass got the party started Saturday. Pageau has scored in back-to-back games and is now up to a whopping eight tallies this postseason. The 24-year-old is meshing well with Bobby Ryan and has been one of the best stories of the postseason. He fired five shots on goal in Game 1 and appears destined to play a key role in this Eastern Conference Final.

Pageau scored an empty-net goal during Tuesday's Game 6 win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Pageau stole Game 2 from the Rangers with a monster four-goal showing, and while New York was able to win consecutive games on home ice, the Blueshirts will wonder all summer about what could have been if they held onto their Game 2 lead. It's quite apt then that it was Pageau who clinched the series with the empty-net tally in Game 6. For the playoffs, the 24-year-old pivot has scored seven goals through 12 outings, and with his prime offensive years right in front of him, Pageau's fantasy stock is trending up.

Pageau scored four goals, including the game-winning tally in overtime to beat New York in Game 2 on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Everything went right for Pageau on Saturday, and he was the fuel behind the comeback win. Specifically, he scored two third-period goals to tie the game before sealing the 2-0 series lead -- with a natural hat trick -- in the extra frame. The pivot also scored an unassisted goal in the first period. Considering he had just a single goal through the first seven games of the postseason, fantasy expectations should remain in check. Still, what an amazing individual performance from Pageau. The Senator faithful will be talking about this game for years to come.

Pageau went five-hole on a breakaway in Friday's Game 5, double-overtime loss to the Bruins.
EDGE Analysis
The Bruins' defense was slowed at center ice, only for a storming Pageau to receive an outlet pass and flip the puck into the cage for his first goal in these playoffs. He would also go on to slap a loose puck away from the net after it got behind allied goalie Craig Anderson during the first overtime. Pageau should continue to be an X-factor in the playoffs following his 33 points and a plus-13 rating in a full regular season.

Pageau worked with the team's top most talented offensive wingers, Mike Hoffman and Mark Stone, in practice Tuesday, Ian Mendes of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Head coach Guy Boucher experimented with the line in Saturday's game against the Rangers and liked what he saw. Pageau appears to be in line for plenty of time on the power-play unit, although the coach says not to look too much into the changes as they could be rather temporary. Still, Pageau is a likely top-six forward to start the playoffs and an attractive sleeper in postseason pools and DFS play.
