McCann scored twice in the first period of Tuesday's 5-1 win against the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
The Canucks fourth line of McCann, Derek Dorsett and Brandon Prust led the way Tuesday, combining for three goals and three assists. McCann now has four goals in seven games early in his rookie season, and is beginning to grow in his role, similar to Bo Horvat last season. His playing time is worth monitoring, and if McCann gets a bump up to a scoring role, he may be worth an add.

McCann will not play in Sunday's game against the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
McCann did participate in an optional morning skate Sunday after missing Saturday's practice, but he will still skip Sunday's contest. However, the fact that he was on the ice Sunday gives him a good chance of playing in the team's next game Thursday against the Capitals.

McCann scored his first NHL goal in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to Calgary.
EDGE Analysis
McCann gave the Canucks the lead halfway through the second period after taking a Jannik Hansen pass in the slot. The 19-year-old is known for having an excellent release on his shot and it was on full display when he picked the top corner on Jonas Hiller. He's played well the past two games and should remain in the lineup, though the Canucks will have a hard decision when he reaches the nine-game mark.

McCann scored the lone Canucks' goal for the second straight game in Tuesday's preseason loss to the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
It was a perfectly placed shot from McCann, who continues to impress in the 2015 NHL preseason. The 19-year-old has racked up two goals and four points in four games and is making a strong case for the Canucks to keep him on their roster this season. McCann has a lethal shot and is a fantasy stud in the making. Keep an eye on him, because if he sticks with the big club, the two-way center could be worth looking at in some fantasy leagues.
