Dallas Stars head coach Lindy Ruff said he moved Jamie Benn back with Tyler Seguin because Seguin struggled so badly in the faceoff circle.
Seguin went a terrible 1-13 in faceoffs on Sunday while Benn went 5-4. Seguin and Benn owners are probably fine with this return-to-arrangement, anyway.

Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin are still working on their chemistry with one another after Dallas' first two games of the season.
Part of the adjustment is also getting used to their old positions again. Benn had been used at center prior to being switched back to the wing this year, while Seguin had been on the wing in Boston before the Stars put him back at center. "It's a learning experience," said Benn who has one assist in two contests. "You just have to go play games, and you learn something new every game. We both played these positions before, so it comes back quicker, but we still have to get to know each other." Benn and Seguin are viewed as the stars of the present and future for Dallas and they should continue to gel as they play more games. Don't be impatient by their sluggish starts.

Dallas Stars star Jamie Benn thinks off-season acquisitions such as coach Lindy Ruff and forward Tyler Seguin should help the team get over the hump.
"It's been. . .such a busy summer for the Dallas Stars but I think the changes we've made have been made for the right reasons. Obviously, we've brought in Jim Nill who is an experienced guy," Benn said. "He knows that he needs for a hockey team to win. It starts with the coach and that's where Lindy comes in. We've got a lot of experience behind the bench now. He's a guy who's been to the Stanley Cup Finals and he knows what it takes to win. I think it's exciting for the Dallas Stars. As far as the players, we're excited about the new guys we got. We've still got a strong core around here. It's going to be an interesting season. Hopefully we can gel quickly." As far as switching positions, Benn is embracing the move from center to winger. "Back to wing. Yeah, I like left wing," he said. "It's my natural position I think. I'm sure you might see me at center a couple games."
