Jamie Benn broke his 11-game goal drought by scoring twice in the Dallas Stars' 6-4 win against Winnipeg Saturday but he was particularly pleased that he scored twice on the power play.
The Stars went into the game last in power-play success. "You just have to stay with it, and we did that," Benn said. "We knew we had been playing well, so we really didn't change anything. We just stayed focused and took advantage of the opportunities." Teammate Tyler Seguin said he was as excited to break Benn's goal slump as Benn was. "I think I got a monkey off my back, too," said Seguin, who had an assist on both goals. "It was nice to see. Sometimes they're just not going in, but he made some great shots tonight."
