Despite having 33 points in 36 games this season, owners that selected Benn with a second or third-round pick have likely wanted more from the big power forward, as his minus-3 rating and 11 goals are well off the pace of his plus-21, 34-goal, 79-point season from last year. The good news is that the Stars have been heating up of late, winning seven of their last eight, and a stud like Benn is bound to start filling the net -- especially playing beside superstar Tyler Seguin, who sits second in the league in scoring with 44 points.

Benn added a power-play goal and dished out an assist in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Oilers. After going nine straight without a goal, Benn now has a goal and multiple points in two consecutive. He's now got 30 points (10 goals) through 32 games, and should approach the 70-point total by the end of the season.

Benn had a goal and an assists, plus three shots, in Friday's win over Calgary. That goal snaps a streak of nine games without a goal for Dallas captain. He's put up points over that period, but the team needs more out of Benn and can't afford to go that long without him hitting the back of the net.

Benn picked up two assists in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Canadiens. The points were his first in three games, but he still has 12 points, including nine helpers, in his last nine games. He only has eight goals so far this season and is off his 34-goal pace of last season. But his shooting percentage (9.8 percent) is well below his usual 12 percent pace. More should come and that will only increase his already great value. Keep him rolling.
