That's six points in the last three games and 70 in 73 contests this year for Benn, who continues his assault on opposing netminders. He's quite clearly established himself as one of the few elite fantasy power forwards in the game and should continue to produce at a high level for the remainder of the season.

Stunningly, this was Benn's first goal and first multi-point game in nearly a month, dating back to Feb. 21. He'd managed just six helpers in 11 games between goals -- an uncommonly cold streak for one of the league's best point-getters.

It doesn't seem like Seguin's absence will hurt him to an extreme degree, though it's certainly quite damaging to the Stars' overall offense and scoring depth.

Benn scored the game-winning goal shorthanded on Friday against Florida.While it was a great effort from Benn, it wasn't all good news on Friday. His talented linemate Tyler Seguin left the game with a lower-body injury and is expected to miss time. Benn now has three goals in his last two games, giving him 19 goals and 55 points in 50 games on the season. While the 25-year-old will still produce in Seguin's absence, if the former Bruin happens to be out long-term, both the Stars and Benn's fantasy owners could experience some hiccups. Although Benn is a stud all on his own, having the NHL's third leading scorer on his line definitely helps.

Benn scored two goals within three minutes of one another in the first period of Tuesday's win over Boston.Benn had been unusually cold of late, going without a point -- and with just one shot on goal -- over the last two games entering Tuesday's action, and he hadn't scored a goal since Jan. 29. But those bad memories were quickly erased, as usual, by one of the game's premier offensive producers.
