Muzzin (undisclosed) is questionable for Wednesday's season opener against the Sharks, Jon Rosen of LAKingsInsider.com reports.

Jake Muzzin has played a significant role in the Kings' 2014 playoff run after serving as a Black Ace during the 2012 championship.
With the Kings on the brink of winning the Cup again, Muzzin took some time to recall his 2012 experience. "You just try to help out as much as you can off the ice and a positive attitude, positive around the guys," Muzzin said. "But when it comes down to it, there is really not much you can do when you're sitting there watching on a TV screen except cheer. You have to stay with that. You have to be positive no matter what the situation is whether you're injured, healthy scratch, whatever it may be. If you're not playing, you're a part of the team still and you have to be professional about it." This time around, Muzzin has scored six goals and 12 points in 25 games. He's also second only to Drew Doughty in ice time with an average of 22:50 minutes per playoff contest.

Quietly but surely, the Los Angeles Kings' Jake Muzzin is establishing himself as an offensive-minded defenseman.
He is one of the Kings' least-publicized defensemen, but he has produced four goals in the post-season, tied for most by a defenseman in the NHL, after scoring a mere five goals in the regular season. He has eight points in the post-season. Muzzin, 25, is paired with the Kings' star defenseman, Drew Doughty. He has been bouncing up and down quite a bit from the minors but it looks as though he is in Los Angeles to stay for a while now and might be worth grabbing in your fantasy draft next season.
