Gabriel Landeskog has five points in his last four games.
Landeskog has caught on fire after starting the 2013-14 campaign with a mini-slump. Don't read too much into his rough showing last season as he was derailed early by a concussion. As long as he can stay healthy, Landeskog should be able to record 50-60 points this season.

Gabriel Landeskog tallied his first goal of the season Thursday night in a 4-2 loss to Detroit.
He scored on a Colorado power play in the second period to tie the game at 2-2. Landeskog has three points in his past three contests, so he appears to getting himself back on track after a sluggish start.

Gabriel Landeskog ended his season-opening three game scoring slump.
Landeskog registered his first and second assists of the season in Colorado's 5-1 victory Saturday. He suffered a sophomore slump in 2013, although the fact that he suffered a concussion was likely the main factor in that. If he can stay healthy, then Landeskog is a strong candidate to get 50-60 points this season.

Gabriel Landeskog apparently had to explain why he didn't fight Boston's Milan Lucic on Thursday night.
"That's one of the best fighters in the league. It's one thing to stand up for your teammates, but you can't be dumb doing it," said Landeskog. "For me, just coming off a concussion last year, you've got to be smart. I respect him as a player and he's one of the toughest in the league and I don't want to fight him. A guy who's had only one fight in the league, I think guys around the league would agree that's a bad tradeoff." Landeskog was trying to get Lucic off of P.A. Parenteau and then the Boston forward wanted to fight with the Avs captain. Both players received roughing minors, but Lucic was assessed an extra 10-minute misconduct for his actions.

The target date for Gabriel Landeskog's return to game action with the Colorado Avalanche comes in Tuesday's road game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Landeskog managed to play in one game this season, registering three SOG in 16:07 of ice time. His 2012-13 campaign was marred by injuries, so hopefully this is just a rocky start and not the sign of a trend of poor health.

Good news for Gabriel Landeskog (leg): he returned to Colorado Avalanche practice on Sunday.
The word from the Denver Post is that he didn't face any "limitations," meaning he seemed to participate in all drills and wasn't wearing a no-contact jersey. Despite being injury-prone, the Colorado captain is a huge part of what could be a dark horse candidate team in the West.
