Andersen stopped 30 of 33 shots in a 3-2 overtime defeat against Columbus on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
When you consistently face 30-plus shots, it's tough to stay elite at all times. Andersen wasn't bad on Monday, but a .909 save percentage is nothing special and certainly doesn't compare to his past three games (.944, .943 and .944). Still, given his workload, it's an understandable performance and shouldn't alarm anyone.

Andersen will be the home starter against the Blue Jackets on Monday, the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen has had to be really good, because the Maple Leafs have allowed 33.9 shots on net per contest. He's been up to the task, as the Dane has posted a .922 save percentage. Columbus has only scored 2.63 goals per game, so maybe Andersen will be in for a good night.

Andersen made 34 saves on 36 shots in Saturday's shootout win over Vancouver.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen has picked up consecutive victories and has allowed just two goals in each of his last three starts. The 28-year-old has been a fantasy ace all season, posting a 22-12-1 record with a .922 save percentage. He's at the top of his game right now and rarely sees a night off, so make sure you get him in your lineup.

Andersen will patrol the crease in Saturday's home game against the Canucks, Sportsnet's Chris Johnston reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen has been sharp of late, maintaining an admirable 1.96 GAA and .944 save percentage through his last two appearances. He'll look to stay dialed in and pick up his 22nd victory of the campaign in a matchup with a Canucks club that's averaging 2.94 goals per game on the road this season, ninth in the NHL.

Andersen made 33 saves on 35 shots in a 3-2 shootout win against the Sharks on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen gets back on the winning side of things after taking a couple losses in his last two games. The Dane has been a workhorse this season, as he's played in 34 games already this year. The 27-year-old has earned those starts, as he has a 2.67 GAA and a .922 save percentage.

Andersen, who will start against the Sharks at home Thursday, has been fined $2,000 for diving in the New Year's Eve contest against the Golden Knights, Chris Johnston of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Dane is being fined because this is reportedly his second diving/embellishment infraction this season -- per Johnston, the goalie originally caught the league's attention for his actions in a Nov. 24 contest against the Hurricanes. His fine is basically a slap on the wrist considering that he makes a cool $5 million per season.

Andersen will defend the cage against the Sharks on Thursday, as coach Mike Babcock sticks with the same lineup from Tuesday, Paul Hendrick of the Maple Leafs' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen has hit a little bit of a slump of late with two straights losses, in which he allowed a combined seven pucks to find the back of the net. The Dane will look to get back on track versus a Sharks squad that is tallying a mere 2.70 goals per game -- ninth lowest in the NHL. The 27-year-old could use some help from his blue line, as the Leafs are allowing an astonishing 33.8 shots per contest.

Andersen stopped 34 of 36 shots in Tuesday's 2-0 loss to the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
After reeling off three wins in a row, Andersen has now dropped two straight, giving him a 20-12-1 record to go with a 2.69 GAA and a .921 save percentage. He'll look to get back in the win column Thursday when San Jose visits the Air Canada Centre.

Andersen will face pucks from the visiting Lightning on Tuesday night, NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen's play was shaky at times during a run that saw the Leafs play seven of their last nine games on the road, so the goalie and company will likely be happy to be returning home, where the Dane has won his last two starts while allowing just one goal in each contest. He'll face a monumental challenge with the league-leading Lightning coming to town though.

Sun 12/31/17 7:08 PM

Andersen made just 25 saves on 30 shots in a 6-3 loss to Vegas on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The Leafs defense wasn't very good, but neither was Andersen, who's now allowed nine goals in his past two games to close out the 2017 calendar year. His overall numbers have improved since last season, but the young Leafs are still prone to the odd dud, and almost every team has been caught by surprise by the Golden Knights. Despite his poor performances, Andersen is the undisputed No. 1 goalie in the Big Smoke, and will likely get the start Tuesday against Tampa Bay.
