Andersen is quite possibly the league's hottest goaltender over the last week or so. The 29-year-old Dane now owns a record of 8-5-0 with a 2.18 goals-against-average and a .929 save percentage. Freddie will now face a Vegas team that ranks 30th in goals per game (2.29) and looks more like an expansion squad this year than in its actual inaugural season when Vegas went all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals.

Andersen will be out for revenge since stopping 36 of 37 shots from the Pens on Oct. 18 amounted to a regulation loss. The third-round draft pick (Anaheim, 2012) is preparing for his seventh consecutive start, having posted a 6-5-0 record through 11 games. However, without phenom Auston Matthews (shoulder) in tow, the Maple Leafs will need to work that much harder to secure victories in support of the Danish backstop.

Andersen made 17 saves in a 2-1 loss to Dallas on Thursday night.

The Leafs have been struggling to score of late and have been especially flat on home ice. Andersen remains a fantastic fantasy netminder despite his mates' troubles. Use him well.

To earn his fifth victory of the 2018-19 campaign, the Dane will probably need his teammates to stay out of the box and avoid Winnipeg's potent power play (32.0 percent).
