Andersen will start in goal Saturday against the Coyotes, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
The 25-year-old Andersen can make it 10 wins in 11 December outings with a victory over the Coyotes, a team he limited to three goals on 52 shots in two prior meetings this season. Look for Ilya Bryzgalov to get the start against the Canucks on Sunday in the second half of a back-to-back set.

Andersen stopped 30 of 32 shots en route to a 3-2 OT win over the Sharks on Wednesday.
With the win, Andersen brings his record in December to an impeccable 9-1 while posting a .912 save percentage and a 2.43 GAA during that time. He's tied for second in the league in wins with 19 -- trailing only Pekka Rinne's 22 -- and has been a steady source of fantasy production for owners this season.

Andersen will start between the pipes Monday against the Sharks, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Andersen is coming off a great performance, allowing just one goal on 24 shots en route to his 18th win of the season. He will take a .913 save percentage and 2.41 GAA into Monday's matchup against a decent Sharks' attack.

Andersen put a stop to 23 of 24 shots to deliver a 2-1 win over the Canadiens on Thursday.
Thrown right back out there after Tuesday's ugly outing, which made his seven-game winning streak come to an end, Andersen turned in a gem against a quality opponent. Even with the four-goal mishap Tuesday, he's allowed a total of only nine tallies over the last five games.

The Ducks will give Andersen the start in net Thursday against the Canadiens, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Andersen was pulled early in the third period of Tuesday's outing against the Maple Leafs after surrendering four goals, allowing Ilya Bryzgalov to make his team debut. Bryzgalov could make his first start for the Ducks on Friday in Ottawa, but because Andersen didn't see a full 60 minutes his last time out, coach Bruce Boudreau will roll with his No. 1 netminder for the 20th straight time. Despite his heavy usage, Andersen had generally played well prior to Tuesday's debacle, winning in his previous seven starts.

Andersen gave up four goals on 20 shots before being yanked five minutes into the third period Tuesday during a 6-2 loss in Toronto.
A pair of early-third-period goals that turned a 2-1 game into a 4-1 game ended up chasing Andersen, but Ilya Bryzgalov wasn't at all better in relief, giving up two more goals on seven shots. Considering he's coming off a seven-game winning streak, we'll give him a mulligan on this one. He'll likely give way to Bryzgalov either Thursday in Montreal or Friday in Ottawa as the Ducks play a back-to-back set.

Andersen will be in the net for Tuesday's tilt with the Maple Leafs, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
The Ducks will roll with Andersen for his 19th straight outing Tuesday, but that streak is expected to come later this week, when the newly-activated Ilya Bryzgalov makes his season debut for one half of the team's back-to-back set with the Canadiens and Senators. Andersen has instilled some confidence by winning seven straight outings, and while he's largely done it on the strength of his offense, he's not allowed more than two goals in any of his last three turns. He looks like one of the better goalie options on the board for Tuesday's 11-game slate.

Andersen made 27 saves in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Jets. It was his seventh straight win.
He has started 18 consecutive games in net for the Quackers, a total that certainly gives us pause. His numbers look good right now, but overuse can set in quick. His owners might be wise to explore a trade to optimize an asset that's perhaps at its peak.

Andersen will be the Ducks' starter in goal for Saturday's game against the Jets, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
Coach Bruce Boudreau acknowledged prior to Friday's game against the Oilers that he would likely stick with Andersen for the second game of the team's back-to-back on Saturday if the goalie didn't see a large volume of shots the night before. True to his word after Andersen was forced to turn away 21 of 23 shots in the victory, Boudreau will tap his 25-year-old netminder for his 18th straight start. He'll face a much stiffer test this time around, as he'll match up against a respectable Winnipeg team that's riding a hot goalie in Michael Hutchinson. Even though Andersen carries a six-game winning streak of his own, it might be wise to avoid using him in daily leagues Saturday given the fatigue concerns that could crop up.

Andersen grabbed his 16th win of the season Friday, turning aside 21 of 23 shots in a 4-2 win over the Oilers.
Andersen has continued to rack up the W's even in Corey Perry's absence (knee), with the previous two being seemingly gifted to him as they've both come against the last-place Oilers. His 16-4-4 record, 2.44 GAA and .913 save percentage have made him a solid source of production this year for owners, who likely rolled the dice on him in drafts without knowing if he or John Gibson would take over the cage in Anaheim. That said, Ilya Bryzgalov and his new $2.77 million contract is lurking on the bench behind Andersen, so look for Freddy to concede at least a couple starts to Bryz in the near future.
