Dwayne Roloson was in net for the Tampa Bay Lightning Wednesday night in a 4-2 loss to the Red Wings in Detroit. It's been a tough season for the 40-year-old goalie. He was yanked early in the third period after allowing six goals in a 7-1 loss to Toronto last week. In fact, he was pulled twice in his past five starts. Wednesday night, he made it through the entire game, stopping 31 shots, but his goals-against-average increased to about 3.60 in 15 games.

Dwayne Roloson will see his first action in more than a week when he starts in goal tomorrow night at Detroit. Roloson was yanked early in the third period after allowing six goals in a 7-1 shellacking at the hands of Toronto last Tuesday. Mathieu Garon started each of three games since with his luck running out in a 3-1 loss at Minnesota on Monday. Dwayne Roloson will attempt to rebound in a home-and-home set against the Florida Panthers this weekend. The 42-year-old keeper worked hard at practice Wednesday after dropping his last two games, while allowing 10 goals in the process. Roloson has had a rough opening quarter to the 2011-12 season with an .887 save percentage and a 3.46 GAA in 14 games played. We'll see how he responds when the Lightning return to action, but he isn't the safest of starts right now.

Dwayne Roloson will get the start in goal on Tuesday as the Lightning are home to the Maple Leafs. Roloson has been a disappointment this season with a 6-5-1 record with a 3.16 GAA and a .898 save percentage. Fantasy owners and Lightning fans are hoping that the game hasn't passed him by as the veteran is 42 years of age. Start him tonight but if he continues to struggle, the Lightning may have to look elsewhere.

Dwayne Roloson allowed only one goal on 34 shots in Tampa's 4-1 victory over the Penguins Thursday night. The roller coaster ride continues for Roloson and his fantasy owners. It was one of those nights for the Penguins, as they struggled to solve the Tampa goalie. It's obvious that head coach Guy Boucher wants to get his number goaltender going after a terrible start to the season. Roloson should get the nod in the next few games and will have a chance to turn his season around.

Dwayne Roloson was pulled in the second period of Monday's contest after allowing four goals on 22 shots in the loss against the Jets. Mathieu Garon was solid in relief allowing only one goal on 17 shots. The roller coaster ride continues for Roloson and his frustrated fantasy owners. Look for Garon to continue earning playing time until the 42-year-old gets his act together.

Dwayne Roloson will get the nod in the next few games and will have a chance to turn his season around. "We have some big games coming up, division games, and Roli is going to be in net for sure," said head coach Guy Boucher. There's always a risk with drafting older goaltenders. How much does the veteran have left in the tank? Although Rollie is on the wrong side of 40, he is an intense competitor and his preparation is impeccable. He should bounce back on a strong offensive Lightning club.

Dwayne Roloson, who is the only Lightning player older than his head coach, didn't have to do all that much to record a win in overtime Wednesday night. The visiting Philadelphia Flyers, dragging the puck in their own zone in bizarre fashion much of the night in order to lure the Tampa Bay players into forechecking, produced a mere 15 shots against Roloson. He saved all but one, a power-play goal by Scott Hartnell in the first period. Roloson's record improved to 5-3-1.
